"4/15. On Mar 3. They showed up on time. It rain the next day. However, they mad it up in time. It was only two people and they painted and repaired my whole house in four days. The representative who set this up came out, gave me a very good price and was very professional. They didn't take any money until the job was finished and we did a final walk thru. I will definitely recommend them to anybody and will use this company again. I'm very impressed!"

Despite their popularity and modern styling, glass railings have a few drawbacks. The first is their high initial cost. While they cost little to maintain, they can be costly to install. Simply clean the surface and remove any debris or dirt, wait for the glass to dry, then spread an even layer of mixed epoxy solution over the crack. You can use a putty knife or rubber spatula to push the epoxy into the crack.

Broken glass cannot usually be recycled. Most recycling programs state that glass must be intact in the form of bottles or jars in order to be recycled. You may be able to recycle broken glass at a drop-off recycling facility—contact the facility to see if they accept broken glass.

To maintain a glass shower door, clean it regularly with a non-abrasive cleaner to prevent soap scum and hard water stains. Using a squeegee after each use is also recommended. Additionally, periodically check for leaks and ensure all hardware remains secure to prevent long-term damage.

There is no blanket number when it comes to glass thickness for soundproofing. Thicker glass does help reduce noise, but it’s only part of the solution. Most single-pane windows use glass that’s ⅛” to ¼” thick. While increasing the thickness can cut down on sound, the real noise-blocking power comes from stacking layers. Double—and triple-pane windows are far more effective for soundproofing. The combination of mass and separation breaks up sound waves better than thick glass could on its own.
