The Tybee Handyman is a general small repair and maintenace company. We specialize in punch list and "honey do" type projects. We also do home network and high speed internet setup and repair, including on-hand spare routers and DSL equipment. We have a vacation/absentee owner house watch program with monthly visits. And we have solid working relationships with electricians, plumbers, A/C technicians, appliance repair people and other services.

He does the work in a timely and professional manner at a very reasonable cost. He is a real asset to Tybee Island and us long distance and local owners are really lucky to have him available to us. The Tybee Handyman is great at problem solving issues in my house. He is a jack of all trades and can help in multiple areas of home services including setting up cable and internet services. Wood stain is not flammable after it dries. The solvent in wood stain is what causes the liquid form to be highly flammable, but the stain drying process involves the solvents dissolving, which leaves behind a non-flammable product on your wood project. Wood stain is, however, flammable before you apply it, so you should always store partially full cans and used wood stain rags away from sources of heat and open flames.

Many types of exterior paint last five to 10 years. Factors that determine exterior paint’s lifespan include the type of paint, type of siding, climate, and the quality of the primer and paint. For example, wood siding will require a fresh coat of paint more frequently than paint on brick.
