"I brought my iPad in to fix charging issues for $200, and then store manager damaged iPad touch screen and demanded payment for $435 to fix THEIR mistake. They refused to give my iPad back, demanded I pay more than double their own original quote, and refused to document that it was in brand new perfectly working condition - until I called the police. Due to their lack of technical skills, they damaged my iPad touch screen, which basically turned my $1300 iPad completely useless. They also scratched the screen in multiple places when trying to open it, using inappropriate metal tools. Afterwards, I looked them up and found out iRepairIt is NOT an Apple authorized / independent repair provider. Too late :( Lesson learned: before taken your iphone/ipad to repair, verify if the repair shop is Apple certified at [*** Link removed ***] iRepairIt is NOT Apple certified (see screenshot). A more appropriate name for this business is “iBreakIt”."
