"Marcus is fantastic. I had a very complex water problem, involving both plumbing and leaking rain from outside. Marcus did an incredibly thorough initial inspection, including photos of issues on my roof and inspection of bricks around my chimney. Then he and a helper came back and performed a thorough water test. Marcus is a second generation roofing specialist and has impressive knowledge of his trade. He first identified and isolated the plumbing issue (which is now repaired by others). Marcus cut inspection holes in my already damaged ceiling, to make sure my plumbing problem was solved. Then he identified leaks from blowing rain, which were evident from the water test. Also, his inspection disclosed potential future problems, which he is in process of remedying. He went over photos with me and expertly explained what was involved with each issue. He was also punctual, neat and polite. His helper and even the office person who confirmed appointments and arrival times were also courteous, first rate professionals.
M&C was the third roofer I called. The first roofer worked on my roof twice, without solving the problem, which eventually caused a serious leak in my bedroom ceiling. The second roofer was baffled and could not diagnose the problem on inspection.
When I first met Marcus, I detected a quantum leap in expertise, which was proved over and over again.

"There was a strange smell in our house emanating from the fireplace.  I assumed we had a squirrel that got stuck and died there.  I called Crocodile Dave and they arranged for Dave to come that day.  He was extremely professional, took a look at the chimney, and devised a plan.  It was actually fairly complicated and took a few hours to execute.  In the end, there were FOUR dead squirrels.  He found them, removed them, cleaned everything up, capped the area where they had gotten in, and put everything back together.  I think the best thing about Crocodile Dave is that he's experienced in animal removal AND he's experienced in home repair and prevention.  I would HIGHLY recommend Dave without any reservation.  He was responsive, professional, and very thorough.  I've given his card to several neighbors with squirrel issues!!"
