We moved into a house with very dark lighting in the powder room (and taupe gray paint on the walls). When the light was replaced and the room finally had sufficient lighting, we saw that all four walls had bubbles all over them. It was damage from a plumbing issue that was fixed by the seller. Apparently the walls were not fixed when the other repairs were done (or the problem was from a different owner). My handyman suggested we have the walls re-mudded which required a couple of coats and sanding and that was not a good option for me. I called Don for a quote and hired him to do the work. He could not come as scheduled due to the ice storm that shut the city down at that time. He got here only a few days later and did the job in a few hours. The wallpaper looks amazing and several people have commented about how nice it looks. You'd never know of the damage under the paper even though it's really bad because Don did such a fantastic job! We're planning to have him wallpaper the foyer ceiling and the office panel boxes as well. Don has experience with the very heavy imported paper from Europe that many installers have no idea how to hang. Hands down he's the best for wallpaper installation in the ATL!!! I would give the rating of A+++ if it was an option. He said he would order the part scheduled a time to come back to install it. The appointment time came and went without anyone showing up, so I called. They said the part hadn't come in...but no one bothered to call me, so I sat around waiting for hours. Eventually, the work SEEMED to be done. However, we began having the exact same problem with our oven 6 months later. Jenn-Air sent out a different company this time to look at it - thank goodness! Long story...but it appears that the A&E technician forgot to put a trim piece back on our oven when installing the new control panel. Without this trim piece, moisture got into the new $1,000 control panel. It had to be replaced again and I had to pay labor for someone else to do the job correctly. Worst of all, I had to get another trim piece ($250) because the A&E technician took the old one instead of putting it back on our oven! We have spent $80,000 with RCS on cabinets, woodworking and appliances for our new home. They are clearly the worst quality/service/responsiveness organization I have ever encountered. Let me go down the list. We had to have a built-in wine cooler replaced three times - the first was dead, and the second was delivered and installed obviously damaged. We have already had to call for service on the dishwasher, refrigerator and the oven. We had to pay for a carpenter to fix custom cabinets that were too short for the space -- because we were told it was the builder's problem. Actually, the space never changed. RCS measured incorrectly. The only work they were willing to do would have only made the problem worse. RCS carpentry work, especially in a downstairs bar, has been uniformly sloppy. Sheets of wood paneling do not match. There are obvious scratches. There is an chip in a $4,000 walnut bar top. Their solution was not to tell us, and to hit it with a spot of varnish, which only highlights it. We also returned $600 worth of hardware for the bar that was the wrong choice - with the assurance that we would receive credit to purchase new hardware. We never received the credit. The RCS rep left the company and, for reasons I can't begin to understand, took the hardware with her. Another frustrating issue is the panels on the refrigerator. RCS sent different carpenters out four times to put the panels on -- and each time they (a) didn't know why they were there or (b) had panels incorrectly sized or (c) didn't have the right material to attach them. Each time, we were told that the new pieces had to be ordered and then no contact. When we called -- each time we were told they were back ordered and each time the pieces that finally came in were wrong. There have been no real records kept. Each of the different service people who came out had little or no idea what the ones before them had done - or what are needs are. After six months or so, we finally got the panels on the front, but after more than two years, we are still waiting for the side panels. And just when we thought things could not get any more unprofessional - due to a dispute they had with our builder (he stopped payment to RCS because of non-service in other projects that had absolutely nothing to do with us (we paid in full), they put a lien on our home. We were told we would be sent a letter for our files acknowledging the mistake. No surprise - we never received it. We gave up. They win. We are slowly fixing their mistakes and shoddy work ourselves. Our thanks to Angie s List for the chance to help others not make the same mistake we did."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ga/hiram/rcs-residential-construction-specialists-reviews-351531.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"NEW IMAGE SPAS","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"GA","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"LAURA S."},"reviewBody":"I called New Image but had to get my husband on the phone for information on the make and model of our spa so they could bring out the correct replacement parts. However, once they drained and cleaned the spa I was informed that the filters were not the correct size and they would have to bring them out the following week. I paid with a check (big mistake in my opinion.) When they were finished they spa cover was filthy, a Coke can was left behind as was a garbage bag with the old filters in it. Several jets were also inoperable. Now, the cover will not close properly and they screwed in several loose panels, when I requested they only use glue. When they didn't return as promised, my husband only got a response by blocking our number when calling. After several calls, they returned, installed the correct filters (which dirtied the spa water) and once again left the removed filters next to the spa (althought we had complained about the mess they left the first time.)"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ga/woodstock/new-image-spas-reviews-3135170.htm"},"position":10}]}

We originally thought about simple drywall, but Kenny (the HB Remodeling proprietor) encouraged us to consider other options like paneling or bead board. We ended up selecting an unfinished wood paneling system with tongue and groove connections. The work project was estimated to take 2...

We went with divine lightscapes because of tims experience, professionalism, and the astronomical clock feature instead of the solar sensor. This means the light system knows when sunset and sunrise will be everyday, every year, including adjustments for daylight savings. House looks beautiful.

FAQs for solar panel service projects in Lake City, GA
The average cost to install solar panels is around $26,600, and most homeowners pay between $4,500 and $53,000. Keep in mind that these prices don’t consider the federal investment tax credit (ITC), which can effectively reduce those costs by up to 30%. The price you can expect to pay for solar panel installation depends on the size of the system, where you live, the type and brand of panels, and the labor costs. Get price quotes from at least three solar companies in your area to find the best deal.
In most states, solar installers need to be licensed and insured as solar professionals, although some states don’t have specific requirements for installers. You can use our state licensing tool to check if an installer you’re considering hiring holds the proper licensing. No matter where you live, a member of your solar panel installation company must be a certified electrician to connect your panels to your home and the electric grid.
Does your total price include the equipment and labor?
How long do you expect the installation process to take?
What kind of workmanship warranty do you include with your installations?
Who should I contact if I have a problem with my system after installation?
Do you install the panels or outsource the work to third parties?
Will you file for solar incentives for me?
In most cases, yes, solar panels are well worth the investment. Going solar with your home’s energy is expensive, but, in most states, the panels will pay for themselves by reducing your electric bills. Solar panels don’t produce greenhouse gasses or other pollutants, meaning you can feel good about using this renewable energy source to power your home. Plus, installing solar panels can boost your home value, helping your profit off your next home sale.
Yes, solar panel installation will require permits. The required permits will depend on where you live, as some states and cities have solar-specific permits, while others only require electrical permits to connect to the grid. In either case, it’s best to hire a reputable solar installer in your area, as a representative should handle all of the necessary permitting for you and will include the cost of the permits in your initial solar estimate.
