Top notch company - installed our new AC/Heating units two years ago. I was a bit pricey, but has performed flawlessly. Subsequent service calls have been reasonable and professional. Highly recommend.

Very professional, had 2 different services completed and received quote for split zoning.

2 new systems, 1 ERV, 2 Dehumidifiers, New Duct work, and Insulation replacement, scheduled to begin July 5, signed on June 14. They didn't complete work until the end of October and it took a demand letter from us to get it done. Were told we'd be their "case study" for ERV installation after this because they "didn't do a lot of them" when we were assured at the point of sale that they could do this. Still above-average humidity in the house, still have high utility costs. We finally fired them after a second chance in February of the following year when we were told they had parts for a job and would be out between 8-12 and, when calling them at 9:45 learned their tech was going to "get the parts" for his first stop (us). We didn't get a notification they were on the way until 11:15 and they were an hour and 45 minutes out. We're still using them for warranty work and now the system, not even 2 years old, has died. It's hot, and they'll be here in 3 days to look at it.

Although the technicians are very nice. As a company Ragsdale has failed us miserably. We spent about 18K to have our whole system upgraded and new insulation in the attic. We followed the recommendation of their sales person to the letter. He ASSURED us that in spending all that money we would not have any more issues cooling our home. Immediately there were more issues. The A/C unit they installed outside dies in 3 days. It was a lemon I guess. And when they went to replace that they also saw that the sales person didn’t notice that the circuit breaker was not the right one to handle the new unit. They had recommended we add new intakes in two rooms so we had done that as well. Like I said we did everything he told us we needed to do to solve any cooling issues. Still two rooms don’t cool well, my office and our master bedroom. We have reached out a few times and they send someone to look. Every time they have different recommendations from a second unit to another thermostat, tinting the windows, keep the blinds closed etc. I have tinted the windows and we keep the blinds closed, but another unit or another thermostat are just not things we can afford to pay for out of pocket. Two times I was told a supervisor would reach out to us but they never did. The guy today, again he was very nice. Said we should buy wireless sensors to connect to our thermostat so it knows to keep cooling. That’s another $100 out of our pocket. He said there should be a second cooling vent in our master bedroom as well. Yet another thing they didn’t recommend when we bought this system that we were assured would be more than enough to cool our home. All these things we would have considered and/or done if we were told they were needed when we spent the money. But the I think commissioned sales person didn’t really know what he was doing now. He was just looking to make a sale and didn’t care wether it actually fixed the issue or not, he got paid either way. Again today I try to call and speak to someone before I left this review. I sat on home for 5-10 min with the recording telling me my place in line and to hold to speak to someone. Just to get the general voicemail to leave a message. We are stuck with them now, they do the warranty work so they do the yearly maintenance to keep the warranty. But I would NOT recommend til his company to anyone right now. They have completely failed us and taken our money without actually doing what their sales person assured us would happen. Very disappointed avoid them for your own good

I do not know where all these 5 star reviews came from. Terrible company with dirty methods of taking money from elderly people who are living on a social security check. Stay away from them. Find somebody who is honest and doesn’t tell you they are giving you top of the line equipment, only to find out it’s mediocre at best.

Charged $438 for 15 min small pipe repair. No response to my complaint of excessive pricing.

After many visits it got done.

Blower motor was not operating and making a thumping noise. Without even hooking up any diagnostic tools the diagnosis was a bad module. No test of the module or motor. Hmm funny how no error codes were triggered by the unit. Every issue with the Bryant unit has always accompanied an error code but strangely not this time. Insane estimate for a new blower module $1300. Asked if I could return the blower module if it didn't clear the issue. Answer... No. This is clearly a case of offering a crazy estimate for a fix to an older model to get me to purchase a new unit. Again, no error codes from the unit. No diagnostic tools were used. He was going on experience with no guarantee. Technician could not answer why no codes were triggered. So $80 for a guy to go to my attic, take pics of the model # and tell me I need a $1300 part because that's what he feels is wrong. If you're going to use this outfit, get a second opinion if you're given an insane estimate like I did.

It went well, they were awesome. I've been using them since 1997. They were very professional, knowledgeable, they were very responsive, they teach you about your unit. They are very personable as well, they are a very good problem solvers.

Ragsdale services our HVAC system since 2008. Their excellent service record gave us the incentive to include them in a bid with 4 participants. Despite negotiating during a heat wave, Ragsdale's Chris Boyd came through with a winning efficient 2-stage system proposal in one week. I hired the wrong person initially to replace my polybutylene pipe. After over 2.5 months of continuing leaks I decided to have the work replaced. Glen from Ragsdale came over to give an estimate. He fixed where water was coming into the family room from the upstairs bathroom. He inspected the rest of the work done. The estimate from Ragsdale was significantly less than the other estimates I got including the repair he did that day. Glen and his assistant came and did the job in 8 hours. They were polite and professional . I wish I had hired them from the beginning. It would have saved me a lot of money, anxiety and damage to my home. I will call them for future plumbing needs.

From the initial estimate through completion of the install, everything was handled with complete professionalism. The quality of the work is top notch, & I was very impressed with how quickly they responded to all my inquiries.

Our central air conditioning unit stopped working on a weekday afternoon and the indoor temperature quickly rose to 85 degrees. I called Ragsdale's emergency service after hours. A real person took my information and a service tech called me back within 20 minutes to say that he would be at my house that night. He showed up on time and was courteous and very professional. My unit is 18 years old and had not been cleaned in several years. The tech replaced the capacitor and fan motor, added coolant, cleaned the coils, checked pressure and performed several tests. Repair and clean up took about 90 minutes. He explained to me what he was doing on each step, told me the available repair options and their costs, and gave me pointers on how to spot a faulty unit. Our A/C now blows out colder air than prior to repair. I was very happy with the service and would definitely hire them again.

I selected having my new HVAC (heatpump) system installed by Ragsdale based on the qualified sales consultation, the use of Carrier products made in the USA, and Ragsdale being a local certified family run business. My new unit was installed this morning by two technicians who worked efficiently and who kept me in the loop about the new equipment, thermostat, warranty, and FAQs. They were polite, neat & tidy. Well recommended.

Overall, he was a great service technician and I think the company is great. If it were up to me, I would definitely hire them to replace the unit and would recommend them.

It was a Sunday and we had a water leak.

We have a contract with them. We've had them for years. They're super professional. A couple of times in a row we will get the same person, and you get to know them a little better. The last couple of times we've had someone different, but it was super nice. It seems like their training is focused on customer service.

It was good. We like them. They're good.
