"We have a warranty for a period of time. We got two other quotes that were significantly higher. We had two other instances. The people who owned the house before us apparently had a significant issue and they blew insulation in to cover it up so it was not discovered in the home inspection. When these issues started popping out, we had squirrels try to enter in other areas. I do not know enough about squirrels to know if it is bad that they had to come back out or if it is normal. They are responsive. They come back out and I have a two year guarantee and then after that, I have to annually repurchase the guarantee. I have the repairman’s cell number so I am not going through the company. I text Carl directly and he is usually out in three days. So, his responsiveness is great. The thing they could do differently is to have the squirrels not come back."

Small jobs welcome

"Keith from Premier Pest Solutions was very professional & knew exactly what game plan to use. I had a rat problem & my eldest son had gotten quotes for over $2000. Premier Pest Solutions gave me a much more reasonable price I could work with. Even with the rain, temperature & wind, he came earlier than he said & told me what he was going to do. The next day, I was seeing a difference, now a week in, I am not hearing anything scurrying around my kichen cabinets. If you want the right price, with the right company, here they are. They went above & beyond what I was expecting! Knowledgeable, respectful & honest company"

"Very knowledgeable guy who seem to know what he’s doing. Don’t know results of spraying. Have had much rain since. Will have to see if it worked. Terminex will spray again the beginning of next month."

"Titan is great! My boyfriend and I are new homeowners and we had a major squirrel infestation in our attic. I am so glad we chose Titan as they solved all of our problems while also preventing future issues. They are super knowledgeable on animal behavior and are quick, efficient, and humane.
Our house is two stories on a hill, so the roof is extremely high and drives most people away, but that was no problem these guys! They thoroughly screened and sealed our vents and gaps in the roofing. They also installed protective, easy-to-clean baskets around the lower vents. One of the technicians found bird nest remnants in our dryer vent and cleaned it out for us, reminding us that it was important to clean it every year to prevent fires: Something I would never have thought of! They successfully found the hole that the squirrels had chewed in our siding and were using as access to our attic. They patched the hole safely and effectively, taking great care not to damage any roofing along the way.
Now our house is completely sealed, our vents are protected, and our attic is squirrel free! Thanks Guys!"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Signs include visible nests, droppings, frequent loud noises, or structural damage caused by these animals, indicating a need for pest control intervention.

When woodpeckers start banging on your walls or roof, they are probably looking for insects to eat, storing nuts for winter, drilling a hole to make a nest, or communicating with other birds to establish territory or find a mate.

The size of the hole can help determine the reason for the pecking. Small irregular holes are a result of insect hunts. Acorn holes are more consistently sized and often fitted with a nut in the middle. Nest holes are large and have rounded edges. If the bird is pecking to mark its territory or attract a mate, it may leave dents rather than holes, and the noise will stop when the mating season starts in spring.

Strong scents like peppermint, rosemary, lavender, citronella, and others can repel woodpeckers—as pungent smells can overpower their senses. For that reason, you might consider making a homemade spray with one or a combination of these scents to spritz around areas of your home where woodpeckers frequent.

In most cases, a mother bird will return to a disturbed nest after the disturbance has passed. However, it can be hard for a mother bird to find a relocated nest. So, while it’s false that a mother bird will abandon her nest if it’s been disturbed, it’s not a good idea to relocate a nest with live babies or eggs in it.

Some of the plants listed above, like daffodils, are poisonous to many animals if eaten. But wild animals instinctively avoid them, for the most part. Household pets don’t always have the same survival instinct, which is why it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with common plants that pose a danger to cats and dogs.
