The owner arrived promptly for a price estimate. He performed an inspection inside and outside of the house including on the roof (which is where I told him I heard the animals). He asked pertinent questions to determine what type of animals were in my attic and concluded that they were probably roof rats. He provided a detailed written price estimate.
After contacting a couple of other companies for estimates, I called Titan back to begin setting animal traps. He asked for payment before starting the work, which I do not like to do.
He returned several times (always on time) to remove dead animals and reset the traps. He was always very professional. Each time we discussed in detail the noises I heard, odors, and the habits of animals given the warmer than average temperature, the time of the year, and the vacant house next door. The traps were moved several times and reset. He also applied metal mesh to vents on the roof to keep future animals from entering the attic from the roof. The animal removal appears to have been successful.
of the country that I?ve lived in, did I ever think squirrels would cause such
a ruckus. We moved into our home last year and everyone warned us to make sure
our attic was squirrel-proof. We kept
ignoring the warnings and putting it off until one evening in the middle of the
night we heard our first critter in the attic. It took one restless night of
sleep and witness to the damages caused by the critter to start researching
pest control and maintenance.
Other companies came out to give us bids without a thorough
inspection and tried to convince us that we were in for spending much more than
I was expecting. After sharing our frustrations with friends at our local dog
park, someone highly recommend TITAN ANIMAL SOLUTIONS. I called them that
afternoon and the following day they showed up on time and took me around my
own attic to show me where the issues were and explain the options for
addressing the damage. It was as if I were in the care of doctors telling me
exactly what was going to happen next, how it will remedy the problem and how
to maintain the work done. The cost was
almost half of what the others were going to charge and the attention to detail
and costumer relation was TRIPLE any other company that I contacted.
I would most definitely recommend TITAN to anyone.
Our house is two stories on a hill, so the roof is extremely high and drives most people away, but that was no problem these guys! They thoroughly screened and sealed our vents and gaps in the roofing. They also installed protective, easy-to-clean baskets around the lower vents. One of the technicians found bird nest remnants in our dryer vent and cleaned it out for us, reminding us that it was important to clean it every year to prevent fires: Something I would never have thought of! They successfully found the hole that the squirrels had chewed in our siding and were using as access to our attic. They patched the hole safely and effectively, taking great care not to damage any roofing along the way.
Now our house is completely sealed, our vents are protected, and our attic is squirrel free! Thanks Guys!
"I am sorry for the miscommunication but after checking my email records, I clearly sent a response/estimate after our inspection. I would be more than happy to talk with you further about the estimate if you haven't had the work completed. We take great pride on being prompt and responsive and we clearly did that in this situation. Thanks for the A’s, though, and we look forward to serving you soon."
"Thank you so much for the response. The cat rescue mission was successful and very exciting! We understand that animal problems don't happen during "normal" business hours. We pride ourselves on being ready to respond to your emergencies when they occur - even on the weekends! Thanks again."
"Many companies that claim to do wildlife removal have a difficult time properly diagnosing the problem. That was the case with infestation at this member's house. You need a wildlife control company that can determine what the target species is and the best places to set traps. Our technicians actually have undergraduate degrees in Biology and Wildlife Management and we know all about the nuisance wildlife we trap. In this case, we were able to see what the previous company was doing wrong (trapping for the wrong target species in the wrong areas) and we were able to set our traps and solve the problem in just a couple days. The previous company was trying for two months!!! Thank you for your response and we are glad that we were able to solve your problem."
They set the traps that day and checked back several times a week until there was no more new rat pellets. After all the catching was done they sealed up the house. I didn't really understand why they didn't seal everything up first, but they said you don't want to trap something in there that you might not find so that makes sense. Ever smelled a dead rat? ugh. One of the techs said they got 7 rats in total. I will be getting rid of my cat now as it doesn't "pay rent" anymore haha.
They guaranteed the work though, so if I ever have any other problems they will fix them. The sealing work they did was really thorough, I might be giving my house inspector a call soon. He didn't inform me of all these construction gaps in my home.
Overall I was really happy with their work, I haven't heard a single peep since!
