We have been in the bee business for about eleven years. We started with one hive and have grown to around 100 hives. We produce about 4000lbs. of Pure Raw Honey each year and about 25lbs of Pure Raw Pollen each Year. We are a supplier of about 100 NUCS each year to novice beekeepers, farmers or anyone that is interested in becoming a beekeeper or just increasing their stock. Our stock is inspected by the GA Dept. of Ag each year. Our operation is located in Covington & McDonough, GA, with hives located in Henry, Newton, and Walton Counties The main part of the beekeeping operation is handled by Mike Sorensen and 18 year old son Cody, who are both Georgia State Certified Beekeepers. They are assisted by two younger sons Jesse and Nathan.

While we highly respect bats and all they do for the environment, we understand that bats and humans are not meant to cohabit the same building or home. Bats do eat 1000′s of mosquitoes each night, but in your home they bring the risk of rabies, Histoplasmosis, Property Damage, and Bat Bugs (often mistaken for bed bugs). In a commercial setting, you can add liability, loss of customers, and depreciation. We remove live bats from all types of commercial and residential buildings. We do not harm the bats – we perform an “exclusion” followed by a “bat proofing”. When needed we also perform Histoplasmosis remediation and guano clean up. Our bat removal service is nationwide and we offer quick response. Most bats are legally protected and some, such as the Indiana Bat and the Gray Bat, are classified as endangered species by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. We comply with all state and federal laws and guidelines such as: Wildlife Nuisance Permits where necessary Full Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance OSHA Safety Protocols Strictly Followed Current Rabies Shots for all Personnel working with bats

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s actually common to see more cockroaches after you spray. It might seem like things are getting worse, but that’s usually a sign the treatment is working. Roach sprays and baits can flush them out of their hiding spots as they try to escape the chemicals. You might notice them acting strangely—slower, twitching, or out during the day when they’re usually hiding.

Yes, exterminators spray inside kitchen and other cabinets as part of a whole-home pest control treatment, especially when eradicating bugs that like to hide there, like roaches and ants. If you spot a pest infestation in your pantry or cabinets, be sure to show your pest control pro which areas have the most traffic.

It is a myth that smashing a stink bug attracts more stink bugs. According to the National Pesticide Information Center, killing a stink bug will not attract more of them. They are able to secrete a pheromone that attracts other bugs, but they will only release their alarm pheromone when they’re squished—which won’t attract more bugs.

Identifying the specific animal running on your roof at night can be challenging without direct observation. Common nocturnal roof visitors include raccoons, squirrels, opossums, and rats. Raccoons are bigger and can create heavy thumping sounds. Squirrels are agile and may produce rapid scurrying noises. Opossums tend to move stealthily with less noise. Rats can make scratching or gnawing sounds. To determine the culprit, look for signs like footprints, droppings, or damaged areas near the roof. For accurate identification, consult a pest control professional or set up wildlife cameras near potential entry points.

Yes, mulch can attract pests. Spiders, centipedes, and ants are some common pests that are attracted to mulch. You can avoid infestation by laying your bags of mulch in the heat for a few hours or by using an inorganic mulch, as it’s less attractive to pests.
