We are a husband and wife lawn care team. We currently offer basic lawn care services. Mowing, weed trimming, edging, blowing and trim shrubs and trees. We offer mulching and debris clean up. We also perform junk removal. Small to medium jobs are our thing but will take on pretty much what you need. We both are full time law enforcement and have a dream of running our own business. We also offer individual services. Your mower works but your weed eater doesn’t just call us. Hate trimming the shrubs just call us. We are proud to accommodate your needs.

After a big storm, you may not be sure if a tree was struck or not. Look for the telltale long scars, like strips or gouges in the bark of the tree, running in sometimes jagged lines down the length of the trunk. On grafted trees, tree suckers will grow from the root stock, not the branches grafted onto it. You can trim just one side of the tree, especially when that side is growing near something like a power line or a home. Pros will carefully trim the tree back until it is safe from that structure. While this is common, it also needs to be done with the utmost care, as pruning or trimming away at one side of the tree may make it structurally unsound.   • Chisel and Hammer: This is often considered the easiest approach for those with limited tools or experience, though it is the most time-consuming.

  • Chainsaw: Using a chainsaw is the fastest method, but it comes with significant safety risks, especially for inexperienced users.

  • Burning: This can be an effective method, but it is not recommended unless you can first drill holes into the stump. Without holes, the stump will be difficult to light and may not burn completely through.

A power drill with at least a ⅜-inch diameter bit can make the job quicker and easier, regardless of the primary method. While you can use a chisel or chainsaw without a drill, it will require more time and effort. Always wear protective goggles and thick gloves, as splinters are an inevitable risk.

Transplanting a palm tree is a similar process except for a couple of important differences. First, their root ball doesn’t need to be as large as a “true” tree, which makes them a bit easier to dig up and move around. Second, they struggle more with taking root and staying upright in a new location, so it’s important to give them extra support when staking.
