After a pine tree fell on our house during hurricane Idalia our initial contractor ghosted us. I was given Tom and Steveâ s name to contact. So glad I did. They told me when they could meet with me and they came as they said. They gave me an estimate on the work and completion time. They were personable and professional. Prior military like myself I found to be a plus. I would absolutely recommend them and I will be calling them back for some more work to be done in our home.

They installed a new fiberglass front door for me when more than one company said they couldn't do it because the old door was improperly cut for the door handle. This was not a problem for Patriot Home Solutions. The door looks great and operates as it should. Well done!!!

They painted my wooden fence. Several panels and large gates painted inside and out. Careful not to get paint on inground pool and decking. The men in this company are now my friends. Their professional attitudes are commendable and appreciated. I will call on them for future projects.

The design and installation of the wood gate was done incorrectly. They installed a single gate instead of a double gate and because it's so long and heavy the latch is always out of alignment making it extremely difficult to open and close. You have to pick up the gate in order to open or close it. When I asked them to please fix it, they came out and put some concrete around the post and several days later I tried to open it and it still was doing the same thing. When I contacted them again they told me that in order to fix it they would have to install a larger gate post but that it would be at a cost. I talked to a fence company and was advised that because of the size of the gate it should have been a double gate and not a single gate. Very disappointed that i now have to spend additional money if I want it work like it was originally suppose to. The gates so heavy that the kids can't even open it. I wish I would have originally hired a fence company instead of a handyman. I don't recommend this company and am very disappointed. In addition, the gate latch that they installed was the cheapest latch that you could buy and is definitely not a latch that's easy to use, especially for kids.

They communicated very well. If they were going to be late they let me know. The work was what I asked for and was completed in a timely manner. Finished product looked great.
