"Very professional and polite. Showed up on time, (actually early) Took down 7 huge pine trees quickly. We also requested stumps grinding. We were a bit concerned since other quotes were higher. There was no concerns. The best thing I can say is our yard, driveway, and front lawn looked better after the job was done. Great clean up. DO NOT HESITATE TO HIRE THIS COMPANY."

Small jobs welcome

We are a husband and wife lawn care team. We currently offer basic lawn care services. Mowing, weed trimming, edging, blowing and trim shrubs and trees. We offer mulching and debris clean up. We also perform junk removal. Small to medium jobs are our thing but will take on pretty much what you need. We both are full time law enforcement and have a dream of running our own business. We also offer individual services. Your mower works but your weed eater doesn’t just call us. Hate trimming the shrubs just call us. We are proud to accommodate your needs.

"Words can't express how happy and satisfied I am with the service Exceed Tree Care provided me! Originally I had called two tree companies that I worked in the past with but when I decided to call Exceed Tree Care the arborist was very helpful explaining to me the situation that I brought up and he made it clear as to what was occurring with my tress. The other companies didn't hesitate to explain anything they just provided me a price and left. Exceed Tree not only completed the job but exceeded my expectations! The Crew did an amazing job several neighbors came out to ask them for a quote and watched as they carefully removed several trees that were near my home!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Trees should be pruned every two to five years, depending on its age and type. Young trees should be inspected and pruned every two to three years. Mature trees should be inspected and trimmed every three to five years, and fruit trees should be pruned annually with a careful eye on seasonal growth. Evergreens typically don’t need pruning, unless branches or limbs are damaged, diseased, or harboring pests.

Yes, cutting a tree's roots can cause it to fall, particularly if major support roots are severed. In extreme cases, trimming roots can affect the tree's structure and stability. Many crucial roots are located just below the soil's surface. If you make severe cuts to roots more than 2 inches in diameter, you risk impacting the tree's water flow and its ability to withstand severe winds or storms. Even cutting roots less than half an inch in diameter under or outside the tree's canopy can cut off its water supply, causing it to decline, die, and eventually topple.

Using Epsom salt to kill a tree stump typically takes between six and 12 months. While this may seem like a long time, it is significantly faster than the natural decomposition process, which can take up to seven years. This method is a viable DIY option for stumps that do not pose an immediate hazard. If you need a faster solution, you can hire a professional for stump removal or grinding, though this may cause more damage to the surrounding ground.

Your local government is usually in charge of pruning trees on public property, and the power company is responsible for trees near power lines (even if they’re on your property). Whether or not they top these trees depends on their approach to pruning. You won’t be able to do much to control this, but you can contact them to find out more about their pruning process.

Bleach can potentially kill some types of delicate ornamental trees, but for the most part, it will only kill the foliage it comes in contact with. Applying bleach is not an effective method of killing a tree. A better option is to use an herbicide, which is a chemical compound designed to effectively kill a tree.
