"I have never at 52 yrs of age experience any contractor in any field that I was 100 percent happy with. I have now!. Great work! They were courteous, prompt cared about the quality of their work and our experience with them. You get owners and not crews. Overall top notch and if they did roof work or anything else I would hire them for everything. Rare find."

"Very professional and polite. Showed up on time, (actually early) Took down 7 huge pine trees quickly. We also requested stumps grinding. We were a bit concerned since other quotes were higher. There was no concerns. The best thing I can say is our yard, driveway, and front lawn looked better after the job was done. Great clean up. DO NOT HESITATE TO HIRE THIS COMPANY."

"Mr. Worsham and both of his crews were an absolute pleasure to work with. They arrived right on time and did a fantastic job pressure washing our 15,000-square-foot building and surrounding sidewalks. The difference was incredible ? everything looks fresh, clean, and well cared for. His landscaping crew also did a beautiful job removing the old boxwoods around the building and replacing them with 35 gorgeous new plants, including azaleas, crape myrtles, and a lovely variety of hostas. The new landscaping completely brightened up the property and made the whole place feel welcoming and vibrant. We truly couldn?t be happier with the results. Professional, hardworking, and detail-oriented from start to finish. Highly recommended ? thank you so much, Mr. Worsham and team!"

"ASF did a super job for us. All aspects were managed extremely well. This included: estimating; delivery of 40 pallets of empire zoiza sod; spraying of old grass and weeds; soil preparation (critical for successful growth); sod placement and rolling of same; and most importantly the 'remodeling' of our 24 year old irrigation system. We are very glad that we chose ASF for this large project. Extremely pleased with all they accomplished over 2 days of work!!"

"The quality of the work they did for me was fantastic. They were prompt and polite. Very nice people and hard workers too. It was more than what I expected to pay but all the bids came in high so they were actually very competitive. I was very happy with their work and plan on using them again. I've already recommended them to my neighbors."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Some trees will bounce back just fine, and others will struggle and possibly die. Evergreens, for instance, have a very difficult time recovering after droughts and usually die after periods of extreme dryness. Usually, you’ll have to just wait and see—if the drought occurs in wintertime, it’s possible that your tree will recover during the gentler springtime.

Leaf removal costs between $400 and $1,000 per acre on average. Nationally, the cost of leaf removal averages about $350. Cost factors for this project include lawn size, leaf removal method, tree density, location, and the time required to do the job. If your lawn removal service charges based on lawn size, you can expect to pay $0.02 to $0.10 per square foot.

It can take anywhere from one month to a couple of years for tree roots to grow back in sewer lines. Tree roots can cause extreme havoc on your sewer lines, potentially cracking them and causing untreated wastewater to make its way into the groundwater. Have a landscaping pro remove trees and roots before installing your system, or call a pro to do it retroactively as soon as you can.

According to scientists at Penn State University, spotted lanternflies do not typically kill the trees and plants they feed on, but they can cause branches and segments to die off. However, they have been found to kill cultivated grapes, which can have devastating consequences for vineyard owners and regions that heavily rely on vineyards to create jobs and generate revenue. They have also killed the Ailanthu altissima, known as the tree of heaven, though this is classified as a noxious and invasive weed tree.

Transplanting a palm tree is a similar process except for a couple of important differences. First, their root ball doesn’t need to be as large as a “true” tree, which makes them a bit easier to dig up and move around. Second, they struggle more with taking root and staying upright in a new location, so it’s important to give them extra support when staking.
