I’ve Been in the cleaning industry basically all my life. I love what I do, I love seeing the results of my work but more importantly the impact that I make on people day to day. "David is great! He did an excellent job installing our home Radon mitigation system. He worked with us to determine the most effective and efficient way to set up our mitigation system. The system works great! Our Radon levels were very close to 0 after the initial install and almost a year later they are still very close to 0, currently measuring at 0.8. He was very professional and responsive throughout the entire installation process. We would highly recommend Covenant Air for help with decreasing the Radon levels in your home.

"I contacted Mr. Love on Friday at around noon. He was available and arrived an hour and a half later, as promised. He looked over the items needing repair for a while. He had to leave for parts and returned about 45 minutes later. After he returned, he did the repairs and was on his way within a couple hours.

I had been dealing with the leaky tub for quite some time. It is such a HUGE relief to have it repaired! I literally almost cried once I realized it was fixed...really, really fixed!

Mr. Love is knowledgeable, experienced and reliable. He was kind, professional and his prices are very reasonable. I most certainly will be contacting him in the future for more repairs/updates! I'm starting a list already...."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Most AC repair technicians will take between two and six hours to carry out repairs, depending on the work needed and the accessibility of the unit. For example, recharging refrigerant lines should take one to two hours to service, while replacing a compressor, blower fan, or other major components can take five to eight hours. You can ask your AC repair technician how long they expect the job to take, but just in case, you should plan on being home and available for most of the day.

AC capacitors have a wide lifespan, ranging from five to 20 years, with an average of about 10 years. Many capacitors will last for the entire life of the air conditioning unit, and most homeowners only need to replace one once. A capacitor should only be replaced if an HVAC professional diagnoses a problem with it. Premature failure can be caused by overheating, power surges, or short circuits. You can help extend the life of your AC capacitor by scheduling regular AC maintenance each year.

No, you should not attempt to replace an AC evaporator coil yourself. This is a complex task that must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. The process involves handling hazardous and flammable refrigerants, which poses significant safety risks. Attempting a DIY replacement can also cause further damage to your HVAC system and will likely void its warranty. It is necessary to hire a local AC repair professional for this job.

If your AC unit isn’t cooling and you haven’t figured out why, there are a few good reasons to turn it off ASAP. The source of the issue, whether that be leaking refrigerant or a broken compressor, will worsen and cause more damage to the overall unit the longer the machine is allowed to run. When in doubt, shut it down until you or an AC pro can ensure everything is working properly.

You will only need to refill your AC with refrigerant if it has a leak. Otherwise, a modern, well-maintained AC will most likely never need a recharge. You may notice a leak in an older system if your bills are higher, you hear a hissing sound, or if the air is blowing out hot.
