"I will hire Casey again and again when I need tree service. He was very careful and attentive to detail. Professional all the way around. My trees look awesome and he cleaned up the fallen branches and debris after trimming my trees to the point I never knew he was there. Great company to work with. Thank you again Casey for a job well done!"

Customers say: True professional

"Ayla Tree Service was phenomenal! We had an issue getting a tree service out after hurricane Helene for six months!! I looked on Google for tree services near me for our community and I found Ayla! They were there the next day to give me an estimate! They started the job that next week! They understood the assignment and kept you in the knowing. These trees were not just cut but pruned, they know what they’re doing and they do it so well, that you couldn’t even tell there was debris made of any kind! The cleanup was fantastic! About 80 people living in one community and not one had an issue! We are very thankful for Ayla Tree Service and you will be as well!"

"The Thorntonâ s were very professional. They called first to let me know they were on the way to evaluate the work. They gave me two options on just the work and then an option on stump grinding and clean up. The Thorntonâ s were very knowledgeable on their craftsmanship and reasonably on their prices. Very Nice customer service! I would recommend them to anyone who would need their services of tree cutting, stump grinding, and clearing a field!ð"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Yes, you should trim the lower branches of your maple tree for safety. Trimming maple trees as they grow helps lift the crown and canopy and trains it to grow straight up. A good rule of thumb is to prune enough branches to leave 6 feet of clearance under the tree.

You can hire a professional arborist or tree removal service to cut down a tree to ensure safety, prevent property damage, and comply with all the local regulations. It’s highly advisable to always hire a professional, as tree removal can be extremely dangerous, especially for large or damaged trees. Certified arborists or tree removal experts have the proper equipment, training, and insurance to do the job safely and efficiently. They can also handle cleanup, stump removal, and obtaining the necessary permits.

Bradford pear trees bloom in early spring with small white flowers. They typically flower for at least two weeks. In bloom, these trees often emit a foul-smelling odor that’s often compared to rotting fish. Bradford pear trees will sometimes bloom in the fall due to drought or other stress-inducing conditions.

If you don’t cut down a dead, dying, or diseased tree, it can become a nesting place for pests like mosquitos, bees, beetles, wasps, fly larvae, and more. Some pests will live in the tree, while others will feed off the decaying wood. Unhealthy trees are also more likely to fall over, potentially injuring people and causing damage to your property.

On grafted trees, tree suckers will grow from the root stock, not the branches grafted onto it. Therefore, the leaves and characteristics of the suckers aren’t the same as the tree because they are different varieties. Root stock has more hardiness, strength, or drought tolerance than its grafted limbs, so if the suckers are from fruit or flowers, it might be different than the main part of your tree.
