"We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outstanding work MWR, LLC did in completing our patio project, which included installing a beautiful roof and outdoor kitchen. From start to finish, their team demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and dedication, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. One of the standout qualities of MWR, LLC is the responsiveness and accessibility of the owner, Calvin Marcotte. His commitment to client satisfaction was evident in his prompt communication, willingness to address concerns, and hands-on involvement throughout the project. His attentiveness made all the difference in ensuring that every aspect of our vision was executed flawlessly. Beyond the leadership, the MWR team displayed an incredible attention to detail. Every cut, every finish, and every installation was handled with precision and care, ensuring that the final result was nothing short of spectacular. Their flexibility in accommodating design changes along the way was also remarkable—we never felt restricted, and they seamlessly adapted to enhancements we wanted to make during the project. Equally impressive was the professionalism and friendliness of the craftsmen. Their expertise and positive attitude made working with them a pleasure, and their outstanding communication kept us informed at every stage of the project. Knowing exactly what to expect throughout the process gave us peace of mind and reaffirmed that we had chosen the right team for the job. In the end, we are extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship provided by MWR, LLC. The final product exceeded our expectations, and we can confidently say that this is a firm we highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier construction services. If you want a team that is skilled, professional, and committed to delivering excellence, look no further than MWR, LLC."

"The work performed by Donnie and his team was great. My siding was cracking and falling down due to poor materials and bad installation done by the builder. I love the paint they used to finish the job. I have the best looking house in the subdivision. Donnie also fixed my electrical problems, a plumbing problem I had been having, and rehung my entrance way chandelier. These are all problems created by a not so good builder. I definitely recommend DJ Handyman to fix any problems you have with your home."

Garages questions, answered by experts

Wood, steel, fiberglass, and aluminum are among the top building materials for a garage. Wood is highly customizable, naturally insulative, and durable in mild climates but can be expensive. Steel is lightweight, low-maintenance, and cost-effective, but it’s susceptible to rust. Fiberglass is low-maintenance and doesn’t shrink or expand in changing temperatures, but it can become brittle and crack from prolonged high winds and sun exposure.

Unlike steel, aluminum isn’t susceptible to rust and is low-maintenance, but its ultra-light weight makes it less durable than some materials, and it’s susceptible to saltwater damage, making it a poor choice for coastal homes.

Most garage doors come with their own set of tracks and rollers from the manufacturer, so you don’t need to buy tracks separately.

A garage counts toward the official square footage of a house if it is considered livable space. For a garage to qualify, it typically needs to be attached to the home and have permanent finishings like proper insulation, finished walls, and ceilings. It must also be livable year-round, which requires adequate heating, cooling, and ventilation. The exact legal requirements for what constitutes living space can vary by location.

Plexiglass garage doors are a durable and less expensive alternative to garage doors, and they maintain a similar aesthetic. Other elegant types of garage doors include carriage house garage doors and stylish wooden garage doors, but these don’t offer the same look as glass, of course.

An insulated garage door is a great long-term investment if it’s within your budget. They save energy and give the door year-round usability. In other words, the door pays for itself after a few nasty winters. Most modern garage doors already have a fair amount of insulation, so look into those options if you don’t feel comfortable splurging.
