They installed a bathroom with a grinder pump for the sewage, built a closet for the pump, HVAC, and hot water heater which also created storage space for us. built a kitchenette, added bead board to existing walls, installed a ship lap ceiling, and replaced two exterior doors. The finishing details were more than we asked them to do, so it was a pleasant surprise when we came home to a staged basement. It was nice to have people go the extra mile since it is so hard to find hard workers these days. I highly recommend Handymack for all your home improvement needs. "The work performed by Donnie and his team was great. My siding was cracking and falling down due to poor materials and bad installation done by the builder. I love the paint they used to finish the job. I have the best looking house in the subdivision. Donnie also fixed my electrical problems, a plumbing problem I had been having, and rehung my entrance way chandelier. These are all problems created by a not so good builder. We had been so pleased with a 10x12' garden shed they built for us in 2012 that we had them build our art studio as well.  Once again, they did an outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with both buildings. We've used Backyard Construction because the quality of their buildings is excellent. After looking at dozens of other companies' offerings it was easy to see that Backyard used better materials and offered a higher level of workmanship yet was still very competitive pricewise. The studio is now one year old and the garden shed is two years old, and neither building has presented any problems whatsoever.
Construction began on time and was completed right on schedule. Their crew was courteous and extremely efficient. Dustin was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to our ideas and did an excellent job following up to make sure we were happy with everything.
