To my surprise, within 24 hours, my A/C was back up and running efficiently. And all i paid was the $45 service fee. Choice Home WarrantyService provider came out to do an initial evaluation and inspection. The initial response was timely, but subsequent service was delayed do to the need to get approval from Choice Home Warranty before fixing the problem. Repair has been halted due to Choice Home Warranty stating that their coverage does not include replacing drier filters. Though it appears to be one of the main components of the system, because it "non-moving," it does not fall under their "normal wear and tear" policy. They also do not include leak detection. This seems disingenuous to claiming they cover air conditioning units. From what I've researched, if the compressor (which moves) had failed, part of the service for replacing that element includes replacing the drier filter as a common practice. Replacing the drier filter ($30-$85 for the part) is much cheaper replacing the compressor ($800-$1500 for the part) or the whole system because it overheats because their is no refrigerant in the system from a leak that could have been detected and fixed. Seems like a bad business model to me. I will be changing home warranty providers as soon as my term is up.- Chauncy N.

Ledlow's Heating & Air CondMr. Ledlow arrived on time just as he promised and quickly repaired my A/C. The external breaker was burned. He had a breaker on hand and replaced the breaker without delay. He also cleaned and serviced the A/C at my request. Did an excellent job overall. Awesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Outstanding and would hire them again. Thank you!

They did an excellent job removing and cleaning a condenser coil, which was VERY clogged with pet hair and mildew, etc. They removed the coil carefully, cleaned it thoroughly, and even created a better access panel to the coil by welding and using removable bolts. The access panel had been haphazardly taped by the previous company (a Home Depot contractor) that installed the unit 6 years ago. ComfortMasters ensured the panel was installed to professional code. ComfortMasters has professional, well trained, knowledgeable staff who are punctual and have an excellent work ethic. Their office manager who manages scheduling is also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend ComfortMasters!
