"Pro Services was very professional and knowledgeable about tv mounting, along with installing the rest of my home audio system. Evan was quick to return my call and helped us quickly set up an appointment for our new TV and accessories. (This was important because we were excited to use our new tv!). He showed up in time and was friendly and very helpful. He also gave me advice on how to get the most out of our new system."

"Brandon did a great job. Showed up when he said he would. Explainded the 2 types of foaming processes. Covered all the exposed areas (windows doors and floor). Did a good cover application, went back and cover light spots. Then cleaned up the area. Great job and good price. Would use him again if i would have the need"

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

It’s less costly to drywall a fireplace than shiplapping it since material costs are higher for shiplap. However, if you’re DIYing the project, shiplap is less expensive since you won’t have to pay for labor. With drywall, getting a smooth finish is difficult unless you’re a pro. Shiplap is ideal for an accent wall or unique space, such as around a fireplace, since it adds texture and gives off a cozy vibe.

You do not need to drywall over most types of garage insulation. However, doing so can increase noise reduction, make the space more attractive, and keep children and pets from touching harmful fiberglass insulation. If you’re using cellulose or some other type of blown-in insulation (fiberglass and mineral wool are common), you will need drywall to contain the insulation material.

In some minor cases, you can DIY drywall repair with minimal time and money spent. This method is best when you have a hole made by a singular problem, such as accidental furniture moving, and not a continuous problem, like a rodent infestation.

Knowing what product to use is crucial. For example, small holes only need spackle, whereas large holes might need a new piece of drywall. You can flex your DIY abilities on this project, but if you’d like a second opinion or have a more significant problem, it’s best to call in a drywall repair pro.

Eco-friendly options reduce environmental impact and often improve indoor air quality.

The person’s skill will affect how many drywall sheets they can hang in one day. Some people can hang 10 or more sheets in a day, while others may only hang six or seven sheets. It also depends on the framing complexity since custom cutting and fitting the drywall can prolong the process.
