"I highly recommend Bob and his team from North Georgia Home Renovations. He responded to my online estimate request for gutters within the hour and was out the next day to evaluate my home. The pricing was very fair and well worth the quality and installation of the gutters. His team was done with installation in under 3 hours and they look fantastic. The whole transaction from start to finish was seamless and stress-free, 5 out of 5 stars for sure!"

"All American Seamless Gutters has GREAT customer service. Pablo came out to give me a free estimate on the 4th of July. He was very nice and answered all of my questions. He even gave me the price quote before he left. Then on the 6th of July they came to complete this project. They texted me the time they were going to show up. I even received a phone call while they were working asking how everything was going. All American Seamless Gutters installed bigger gutters for me, aluminum covers, and replaced the bad wood near my gutters. Plus, they replaced wood on the soffit and fascia. They even painted the wood that was replaced. My house looks gorgeous! They are very reasonably priced and completed all the work in one day. This company is highly recommended!"

"10 Stars for Ned Stevens gutter cleaning!! I had small trees growing in my gutters and the front gutter was coming loose. They cleaned the gutters, fixed the gutter where it was loose and they bagged all the trash up. They did not charge extra for the loose gutter either. Nice and neat and EXCELLENT service!! So happy I found you guys!! Kathy from Dallas"

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

No—gutters should be designed and properly installed so they are ready to handle any level of rainflow from your roof. If you notice pooling water around your gutters or on the roof, it’s imperative that you contact a gutter repair pro near you—the slope of your gutters could be off and need adjusting.

Unless you've chosen to install underground downspouts, your gutter downspouts shouldn't touch the ground. If they come into contact with the soil or pavement next to your home, rainwater can back up into them during a storm, preventing them from doing their job effectively. Instead, aim to have your downspouts end about 12 inches from the ground.

Regular cleaning, checking for leaks, and ensuring that downspouts direct water away from the foundation help prolong gutter life.

Yes, caulking or sealing your vinyl gutters is a good way to help prevent gutter leaks. When you’re installing gutters, it’s important to overlap the sections to help avoid issues like leaks or drips, but they can still happen. In this case, adding caulk can help. Make sure to use a caulk designed for multiple surfaces, like a silicone-based caulk. You can also purchase a gutter sealant as well, which is specifically designed for this purpose.

On average, gutters need to be replaced every 20 years. Unprotected gutters in more extreme weather conditions are more prone to breaking and may need to be replaced sooner. Meanwhile, proper maintenance can extend your gutter’s life span even further. That said, proper installation, gutter hangers to provide additional support, and gutter guards or helmets all play an important role in how long your gutters last.
