We are a Family own Air Conditioning & Refrigeration company ready to service and install all kinds and brands of HVAC systems. Our success is based on customer satisfaction and reliability. Thank you for considering us, we look forward to hearing from you. Thanks

"If you are with American Home Shield and this company is assigned to you. Quickly stop what you are doing and beg them to assign you to someone else. I had a claim thru AHS, they were the 3rd contractor to finally show up. They send out a guy who states the obvious that I need a new condenser which I knew from the prior contractor who also informed me I need a whole new system. I pointed that out to their tech of course I was summarily dismissed as some rube that couldn't possibly understand what's needed. Mind you the ac has been out for a week at this point. I live in S. FL and this started on 5/14 they showed up on 5/19 on 5/20 they call to collect the payment. I gladly pay as I want this resolved. I'm then told unit should be in Monday the 23rd. Monday comes and I don't hear anything, I'm then told part is coming from Chi town and will be here Friday the 27th (a holiday weekend) sure. Friday comes and just as predicted no part. Now it's the next Friday the 3rd of June. As you may have guessed part surprisingly doesn't show and of course no call or communication from J.E.T. unless I'm the one initiate the call. Finally, on the 10th part arrives of course I needed to phone them to find this out. Now they schedule me for Monday the 13th. They finally show up bright and early at 1 in the afternoon. After a few hours I'm up and running again after 30 days w/o ac. Hoping this is over I go on with my life. But alas, no on the night of the 30th some 17 days after ac was installed ac is not cooling right yet again. I again put in my claim to AHS and lucky, lucky me J.E.T. is assigned to me again. They show and five minutes determine their is a leak. Gee no kidding maybe it could be the air handler you didn't replace before???? They inform we they have to get permission to run these tests and lucky me it's July 2nd, on a holiday weekend. So Tuesday I start calling to no avail. Numerous messages left no once was a return call made. Finally on Friday the 8th I was able to get thru to someone at AHS and get my contract reassigned. If AHS assigns these people to beg, grovel, do whatever you need to do to get away. These people are the WORST. HORRID SERVICE COMMUNICATION ETC. IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN THEM LOWER THAN ONE STAR I WOULD HAVE."

"John Joseph Guerrio has been scamming people for YEARS with his fraudulent appliance repair "companies". John posts online reviews that are ALL fake. Check under one of his older company names, Always Able Appliance Repair. John takes your money, performs no legitimate service, orders nothing, fixes nothing and replaces nothing legitimately. Needs CASH upfront and then disappears once you realize he's never going to honor his contract/invoice. Took $550 from my 77 year old mother in-law (invoice attached) and refuses to refund or complete service as contracted. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS PERSON / COMPANY! He has a history of fraudulent appliance repair companies, changing company names and phone numbers as often as needed."

FAQs for appliance repair projects in Wilton Manors, FL

If your refrigerator needs to be repaired, contact an appliance repair company to diagnose the issue and repair your refrigerator. It’s okay to leave it plugged in and running, but unplug it if it makes unusual noises.

Signs that your refrigerator may need repairs include:

  • Food items are not being held at the correct temperature (between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit)

  • The fridge is using too much energy and seems to run all the time

  • Loud and/or unusual noises

Possible causes include:

  • A damaged door

  • Faulty condenser coil

  • Malfunctioning control board

Contacting an appliance repair professional as soon as possible can help save items in your fridge from spoiling. Common fridge repairs include the compressor, control board, thermostat, defrost motor, coils, and ice maker.

If you’re having problems with your dryer, contact an appliance repair professional as soon as possible to inspect and repair it. Having a faulty dryer can be a major inconvenience in the home.

Your dryer may need repairs if:

  • It isn’t turning on

  • It’s not releasing enough heat

  • The drum doesn’t spin

Common repairs include:

  • A damaged or worn-out belt or

  • Damaged or shorted electrical wiring

  • A control board malfunction

Dryers tend to overheat or become short-circuited over time, especially after heavy use. Other common dryer repairs include door switches, timers, and control boards.

If the unit is not under warranty, then you may want to call a reliable appliance repair technician to diagnose the issue and recommend a repair. Some of the most common washing machine issues are inadequate water supply to the unit, poor drainage due to clogging, leaks, and excessive vibration while washing. Like ovens, the cost to repair a washing machine will vary widely depending on which issue you’re experiencing.

The average cost to repair an appliance depends on the appliance, make, model, the part that needs repair, and how long it takes to replace or repair a part. The following are the average repair costs for the most common appliances:

  • Refrigerator: $200–$300

  • Freezer: $90–$500

  • Oven, cooktop, range: $100–$500

  • Microwave: $50–$400

  • Dishwasher: $160–$300

  • Garbage disposal: $70–$250

  • Washing machine: $50–$450

  • Dryer: $100–$400

Appliance repair contractors may charge $40 to $120 per hour for labor, and most also provide the replacement parts necessary at an additional cost.  It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays and emergency fees may apply if you need your appliance fixed immediately.

It's good to contact the manufacturer first to see if any warranties still exist, and if they have any specific repair persons they recommend. Some specialty units or smart units may require the assistance of a manufacturer-approved technician. Oven issues can be more challenging to diagnose than other appliances in the home because many of the parts are difficult to access for inspection or replacement. Some common oven repairs involve replacing damaged burners, heating coils, or electric cables. Purchasing additional parts, such as a new heating coil may also increase the total repair cost.
