"Ron is a fantastic jack-of-all-trades. Ron renovated the roof of our large old pole barn and put in a concrete floor. We were very pleased with the work and he gave us the most competitive estimate - and then stuck to that estimate! We had the unfortunate luck that a large tree fell in our barn soon after completion. What re the chances!? We again hired Ron - this time to clear the tree and repair the (now severely damaged) pole barn. Trust him entirely! His work is great and he is easy to communicate with."

"Dealing with the owner, Steve, all went well from start to finish. I called him and left a message. Within an hour he returned my call. I asked him if he did concrete driveway repair and if so could he give me a quote on how much it would cost. The same day he came out looked at driveway and quoted me his price. The next day I called him and asked him to do the job. Within four days the job was completed. Excellent work. I would strongly recommend his service to anyone needing this type of work. Concrete Resurfacing questions, answered by experts

A resurfaced concrete driveway typically lasts between 8 and 15 years, with an average of around 10 years. The actual lifespan depends on several factors, including the quality of the original concrete, how well the resurfacer was applied, the amount of traffic it endures, and the local climate. Exposure to intense sunlight, rain, snow, and frequent temperature fluctuations can weaken the surface more quickly. To prolong its life, you should reseal the concrete every one to three years and patch any small cracks as they appear.

Because it’s faster and uses less materials and energy, resurfacing a driveway is more eco-friendly than replacing it. However, that doesn’t mean it’s always the best option. When deciding between driveway resurfacing vs. replacing, it’s important to consider the age of your driveway and the level of damage. In some cases, replacing it may be a better choice for your budget.

Yes, you can pour new concrete over old concrete, but you need to apply a concrete bonding agent to the existing concrete to ensure the new concrete sticks. Keep in mind that even with a bonding agent, large cracks and other flaws will still come through. If the concrete has heaved, settled, or cracked, pouring new concrete on top won’t address any root structural problems. Removing the existing concrete and rebuilding will be your best solution in that case.

Routine cleaning with light detergents, avoiding abrasives, and timely addressing chips prolong the new surface appearance.

Ensures smooth finishes and extends the life of surfaces.
