"This is our second time calling on Garry and like the first time, he’s absolutely AMAZING! He’s the epitome of professionalism in every sense of the word! We especially appreciate when Garry pressure washes, that he doesn't just automatically apply full-blast water pressure in all situations (as someone less experienced might) instead relying on bleach to clean the surface first and then using something less than full water pressure to finish the clean and rinsing. His method definitely reduces the potential for property damage. Garry is also very nice to deal with and very knowledgeable about many things, and for all these reasons we’ll definitely be calling on him again!"

"We needed a spring cleanup on our landscaping and Jeff came out quickly to do an estimate. He went over everything with us and scheduled the job and got it done within a few days. He kept in contact and kept us informed which I really appreciated. The work looks great! I would highly recommend him."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

While DIY power washing is possible, professional services ensure thorough cleaning, proper pressure levels, and avoidance of surface damage.

It is generally not recommended to use dish soap in a pressure washer. Dishwashing liquid is formulated for cooler water, and the warmer water used in a pressure washer can create excessive suds, potentially damaging the machine's tubing and other components. Always check the manufacturer’s instructions for recommended detergents. If you find yourself in a pinch, you can try a highly diluted solution, such as one tablespoon of dish soap per 1.5 quarts of water, to avoid clogging the machine.

Yes, a pressure washer uses less water than a garden hose. There are many ways to use a pressure washer, and it can be an eco-friendly hose substitute. While a pressure washer expels water with greater force, it uses 50% to 70% less water than a garden hose. Specifically, hoses put out six to 10 gallons per minute (GPM), while pressure washers only use two to five GPM.

Yes, you can use a pressure washer to effectively clean debris, dirt, and grime from your gutters, but it must be done with caution to avoid damage. Always use a low-pressure setting, with a recommended range between 1,200 and 1,800 PSI. Excessive pressure can bend or dent aluminum gutters, damage seams, peel paint, or even knock shingles off your roof, potentially leading to leaks and moisture issues. For a safer alternative, consider soft washing or cleaning them by hand. When using a pressure washer, it is safer to use gutter elbow extensions from the ground rather than climbing a ladder, as the force can cause instability. Due to the risks, you may want to hire a licensed and insured contractor for the job.

Professionals use high-pressure steam cleaners, brushes, and specialized cleaning solutions for effective results.
