"Armor Guard Review In August 2023 I had Barry the Field Manager of Armor Guard come to give me an estimate to repaint my 7 ft by 14 ft deck. The price I was quoted was more than double of other estimates with other companies. The reason I chose them was for the warranty. 5 years labor 20 years material and the warranty was transferable if I decided to sell my home. I should have realized at the time that the warranty was too good to be true. They were supposed to send a crew to pressure wash, fill all cracks and holes, sand, apply primer, and apply two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Deck paint and sealer. Little did I know at the time the warranty by Armor Guard was a ploy. They sent one man a subcontractor to do all the work himself. I am retired and was able to be here to monitor each day with step by step photos that I took. First the man who came was told only to power wash and paint. This was my first interaction with Rodney the President of Armor Guard. Rodney was not helpful and was argumentative. He then agreed to prepare and paint my deck as was written in our contract. My deck was then primed and painted in the rain. The man who did all the work was being pushed to get it done quickly. As a result one week later I could see spots of primer and bare wood showing through the paint. Again I called Rodney and he told me that it was bird droppings and they left the paint so I should just paint it myself. He did send his subcontractors to look at it and they agreed that it did have many areas showing primer and wood. He agreed to have them come back to apply a third coat. They did. In April 2024, 8 months after the original painting it was showing primer and bare wood through the paint again. I contacted Rodney again he was rude. He did agree to have subcontractors come on June 8th to pressure wash the deck and then they would return on June 10th to repaint the entire deck. On June 8th two men from { removed company name } showed up at 8:00 a.m. One of the men said that they would pressure wash and touch up but not paint the entire deck as Rodney had promised. He said that Rodney had only paid him $300 and told him to pressure wash and touch up. At that time I told them to just pressure wash and I would take this up with Rodney. They left my furniture in my driveway they left my hose on the ground with the nozzle off. They did not do a good job. They were only here about 15 minutes total. Rodney has not made an attempt to come to look at the work himself or do a final inspection. I have caught Rodney in lies and have gone through continued stress and anguish because of this. I have two photo albums on my phone with day by day pictures of the work from the beginning until now. I also have screenshots saved of every text message between Rodney and myself since August of 2023. He texts instead of phone calls and actually in this case it turned out to my advantage. Rodney then offered to come and have the men paint the entire deck but he also added it would be the last time. That to me means he was not going to honor his 5-year warranty. At that point I made the decision not to respond. I no longer want anymore to do with Rodney or Armor Guard. He made a statement that my deck was dirty and that's why I was having issues. He is a narcissistic liar and impossible to do business with. My complaint and his responses are on the BBB website. I am considering contacting a reporter since I have so much to show as far as photos and screenshots of our text messages from the beginning. I think it's important to show other people what happened to me so that they don't fall for this sham."

"Gregs Painting was paid over $13,000 to paint our whole home. Part of the job was to remove some wall paper and then texture and paint the wall. All the jobs seemed to be done well at first but within a few months the paint in the areas that the wall paper was started to flake off. It is dry and cracking all over. I spoke to Greg and he said that it must be because the glue was not removed properly when he took the wall paper down. After a while he agreed to come and redo the areas that he made the mistake on. He said he needed a month or so to finish some other jobs first. Over a month goes by and he does not reply to my messages or answer my calls. I called from my wifes phone and he answered. He then agreed to come on August 28th to do the job. I called him 4 days before to confirm and he did confirm. He said I told you I will be there and I will be there; Today is the 28th and he never showed up, he is not replying to messages or answering his phone. Do not trust this person or anyone who works for him."

"I contacted 9 different contractors for a quote to install a whole new bathroom, a dog room with a commercial dog wash and new French doors. Along with removing the popcorn ceiling in 3 rooms & painting/texturing those rooms. He even cleared the popcorn up a 10â skylight and painted/textured that as well. Atlas was the only company, out of the 9 I contacted, that was able to complete all the work from start to finish, all the other companies told me I had to find someone else for the projects they couldnâ t do themselves so weâ d basically have multiple contractors in and out of my house doing the remodeling, which we didnâ t want. Not to mention the price difference for the project. Joe was awesome, came through clutch for us. Great price for the whole package deal and we will definitely be giving him a call when we are ready to have more work done."

"Excellent work ! The company did a great job both repairing an existing portion of wood fence damaged during hurricane Milton and replacing a long section that was destoyed by the storm. The pricing was competitive and the work was accomplished as scheduled. The fence is well built and without a hurricane should last for years. They powerwashed my house, roof, pool deck and painted it, painted (2 coats of paint) on 2 car detached garage, repaired 2 rusted thru leaks on 2 RV canopies and painted them. They were most efficient, provided all paint, etc and did complete cleanup. And Cha dler's pricing was more than fair. If you want someone to do your best job, be there when he says he'll be there Chandler is your choice! If you are retired military he offers a military discount!
