"The job went very well. In my world the best thing one can say of another is that they are trustworthy. Mark is trustworthy. He did the job here in Florida while we were 1200 miles north. He did extra work to make the job right and our lives easier. On a scale of 5 we give Mark at 10."

"Went great. I also looked at BriteMagic some time ago but I felt the woman who answered the phones for them was unprofessional and difficult. I found Groutsmith always to be courtesy and professional. They did a good job."

"Installer, Kirk, was knowledgeable, experienced and overall helpful and professional in all aspects of the job. The tile came out just beautiful. We had a problem with the walls and what to do with the already existing strange woodwork(moldings). Kirk came up with a fantastic solution and did a great job. The entire job was done to perfection."

"Wow! Hector and his crew did a spectacular job in our kitchen, installing granite countertops with full granite backsplash. From initial consultation to completed project was under 3 weeks. Hector priced the project fairly. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Hector is a true perfectionist, seeing to every detail . We would whole heartedly recommend this young man and wish him much future success."

"The repairman, Rick, was a nice guy with lots of experience. The re-finishing job turned out very nice. The only difficulty was that the old sink was discovered to be cast iron and weighed over 100 pounds! With some difficulty, it was muscled out to the garage. Once the plumber installed the new sink, it was obvious that the entire project was well done, Rick showed up on time and finished on time so that the plumber could start at his scheduled time."

"Joe was very informative when he first contacted me. You always hear about contractors not showing up or not doing a good job. But Joe showed up when he said he would - he even drove from 3 hours away to come do our counters! He did a great job honing and polishing our kitchen countertops as well as sealing our bathroom countertops and even the ones outside. And Joe gave us all the information to take care of our counters. We’re very happy with the job he did."

The average cost of installing tile is around $2,000, ranging between $400 and $6,500, depending on the type of tile, square footage of tile, and whether or not your tiling contractor performs site preparation, like removing old tile. On average, you can expect to pay between $5 and $45 per square foot, largely depending on the type and quality of the tiles you choose. For example, ceramic and travertine tile cost about $1 per square foot, but luxury tile options like marble cost up to $350 per square foot, not including labor.
The cost of home remodeling is $50,000 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range anywhere from $3,000 for a small project to $170,000 for a whole home remodel. Factors like project size, location, and room type all affect your overall cost. For example, bedroom remodeling costs are one of the least expensive projects, costing about $1,500 to $5,500 per bedroom. However, a kitchen remodel has a significant cost range, totaling anywhere from $14,500 to over $70,000.
Yes, most states require home remodeling contractors to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed home remodeling contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

Tile will almost always last longer than laminate flooring, regardless of the type of tile installed. Porcelain tile can last for 75 years or more with proper care, and even less durable ceramic tile will last for 60 years or more, provided they’re installed by a tile professional. On the other hand, laminate flooring has an average lifespan of around 20 years, and you might only get 10 to 15 years out of low-cost laminate flooring. As such, tile will add far more value to your home than laminate.
The cost to install countertops is $3,105 on average. This project cost can range from $400 to $8,500, depending on the material, edging, and countertop size.
Laminate countertops are generally the most cost-efficient, ranging from $8 to $27 per square foot. On the other hand, slate countertops are considered more luxurious and range from $30 to $90 per square foot. There are also countertop materials priced between those two, including stainless steel, granite, Corian, and wood.
