I was greeted with a polite smile along with a pleasant and professional attitude by him. After, we discussed several job projects (trash can area , circular high rise centerpiece for front yard, walkway to mailbox, enclosed wall around fire pit, and a L-Shaped wall to house a grill on the outside patio) I was pleased with our conversation especially after he showed photos of their work, the job comes with a 1 year warranty, and reassuring the work would be done in a timely manner. "Dervin was great. He came out when I wanted him there. My schedule was conflicting with his, but he immediately accomodated me. I originally wanted a quote for the interior paint job, but after talking with Dervin for about 15 minutes, it was apparent that he was extremely knowledgable about almost every aspect of homebuilding, remodeling, painting, etc. He was also honest about what he couldn't do. So I also had him remodel the master bathroom shower. I gave him some free reign in the design of the remodel. I picked out the tile and he completed a beautiful remodel with varying patterns of tile and the building of an additional wall. He also included the demolition of the old shower into the remodel quote.
A quote was emailed to me by the end of the day, and the prices were extremely reasonable. I met him at the house the next day and gave him a key as the house was vacant. When I dropped by the next day to replace a fixture (this is a rental property), the crew was already there, working diligently.
He promised the job would be completed by the 13th. He was basically done on the 11th. First time ever for me that a contractor has completed work before the alotted time!
When I showed up to pay him the remaining balance, I was surprised to find him touch-up painting window sills and baseboards even though we agreed that they weren't part of the contract! This guy goes above and beyond the call !!"
