"They were fantastic and a great value. They were straight shooters, did not give me more than I need in terms of cost or fanciness. They took time (efficiently) to inspect onsite what needed to be done, and finished faster than intended. They even vacuumed up after themselves-above & beyond. I waited a week to see the effects before posting, to be more useful. The improvement in my house's heating and cooling was instant. They came after a long cold streak in Tallahassee (January) and were coming to do two jobs: (1) updating insulation for my 30-year old house with a metal roof and existing insulation and (2) partially-finished garage/office. Now our attic closets & office are more moderate in temperature & do not leak as much hot/cold air. This helps energy efficiency and makes the space more usable. "These guys came out (quickly btw) and made my house so much more comfortable- it was always so humid inside and now it is cold. "Excellent. Waylon and his team were very professional, answered all questions I had and performed superb service. Within the past year, I have had a few issues with my HVAC system. First go around, I contacted a different company who came by to access the issue and repair. For the time and labor involved (less than an hour) I feel I paid an outrageous amount but it needed to be done (summer time in the Panhandle of FL). The second issue, which turned out to be a faulty capacitor was handled by Waylon at H&W. Again another less than hour job to access and fix the issue but this time Waylon explained why this fix would be a "Band-Aid" to a bigger problem and advised looking into replacing my unit soon due to it's age and wear. All in all this cost me a third of the price from the previous visit by the other company. Fast forward to this past week, I contacted H&W and another company to get a quote for HVAC replacement. The first company came by and gave a detailed review of what would be done. H&W did the same but forwarded me the quote same day. The other company didn't get back to me until 3 days later, needless to say they missed out. Waylon and his professional team came by and completed the job, ran through everything they took care of and even followed up on additional questions I had at the end. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not contact them for any HVAC issue, big or small."
