"BUYER BEWARE! In April, more than a year after my purchase, installers came to fit my window for the third time, and yet again, the incorrect glass was used during manufacturing. After the initial installation, I pointed out to Joshua Sandoval that the glass did not match the samples shown by our salesman, Jeff Rodon. It turned out that I did not receive the SmartSun glass I was promised, which provides maximum UV protection. Joshua assured me they would order the correct glass and replace it without altering the frame. Reluctantly, I agreed to sign off and paid for the window. When the new glass arrived, the Renewal by Andersen team attempted to install it. Though the correct SmartSun glass was delivered, they couldn't remove the original glass from the frame due to a manufacturing error with the frame itself (as told to me by a Renewal by Andersen installer). I was informed that the entire window needed to be remanufactured and that the order would be expedited. During this second attempt, they dismantled the outer and inner framing and used Andersen logo tape to secure the glass, which was an unsightly solution I endured for six months. However, the window installed in April 2024, over a year after the contract was signed, still did not have the SmartSun glass. After 13 months, the correct, more expensive window has not been installed, leaving me extremely frustrated and disappointed with Renewal by Andersen. At this point, I do not wish to undergo another installation. I am requesting a refund. I have been trying to work with Customer Service for two months without making any progress. "On March 16th of 2021, I had our pool cage refurbished. I had actually put down a down payment of $1500 on December 14,2020, but they could not get to my pool cage until 2021 (after many calls to the company). The job was finally finished, and the balance paid on March 25, 2021, and looked beautiful. I wrote a glowing review. I should have waited. After several rainy days, I noticed that many of the screws they had replaced were starting to show signs of rust. I have been calling them since then (it is now March 2022) to try to get someone out to my home to correct the problem (which I was told was just a matter of the screws being "screwed too tightly" and they just needed to be "painted over". I had never heard of this and the screws that they took out lasted years (since 1995) before any showed signs of rusting - definitely NOT within a few months and some rain! I am so angry that I paid $6,500 for this awful job and horrible customer service. They were the highest bid, but I fell for the "best for the job" line and the "we stand behind our product" lies. I have contacted them several times but calling and being polite, patient, and "nice" have not worked. I am writing this as a warning to others. I had also believed the glowing reviews."

We carry General Liability Insurance, and require any and all sub-contractors we use to have the same coverage to protect you, us and them from accident or loss during the course of any project. In most cases we submit bills for payment at the completion of the job and are due upon receipt. However, in some cases we may submit for draws during larger projects or we may require a deposit upon the signing of contract. All is on a job to job basis. We have a referral program to thank you for recommending us to your friends and family. (see our site for details).
