"The landscape design was so impressive, I am having them landscape other areas. Worked very hard, never cut corners (carefully placed mesh fabric under landscape stones..that they carefully washed before installing), worked long hours to finish the job, etc. Many compliments and strongly recommend."

"Excellent service! Matt arrived on time, was professional and knowledgeable. He quickly troubleshot a suction side leak and replumbed my pump in less than two hours. The system is working better than when I purchased the home 18 months ago. I will definitely use Controlled Irrigation for all my future needs. -Robert- Port Saint Lucie"

"They came and installed the fountain on the concrete pad we had for it. They leveled the fountain bowls and filled them with water and checked the flow of the pump. They adjusted the flow properly. Very professional and informative."

"I have done numerous projects with the Garden Wizard starting with a complete relandscaping of my backyard and pool areas. It is a beautiful, tranquil, and private oasis. Since then we have fully landscaped the driveway and front yard, added lighting, outside showers, and many other things. Everything has been top notch! Highly recommended"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

A good rule of thumb is to change 5% to 15% of your koi pon’s water every week. Partial water changes help keep your koi healthy, and replacing small amounts at a time prevents causing stress for the fish.

You have several options for your pond by getting your yard ready for the winter. You can winterize your koi pond by ensuring it’s at least 5 feet deep so it doesn’t freeze completely, installing a pond heater or aerator and having it run at all times, and installing a deicer if temperatures are dangerously low for an extended period. You can also choose to shut down your pond for the winter by removing all the wildlife in it and bringing it indoors, cleaning out the filter and pump, and then covering the pond with a tarp.

Whether a natural pool is worth it depends on several factors because they cost more than traditional pools. Many people opt for natural pools because they enjoy swimming in natural bodies of water such as lakes. Also, if you're environmentally conscious, a natural pool is going to be a much more attractive option than a traditional pool.

Moreover, for people with chemical sensitivities, a natural pool is a great solution since the water doesn’t contain chlorine.

Yes, waterfall edges are still in style and even considered a kitchen classic. At one time, they were considered trendy, but now homeowners appreciate them for their timeless appeal, which adds value to your home.

Because frogs require fresh water for survival, they can die from repeated exposure to swimming pool chemicals. Chlorine dehydrates frogs, which can lead to their deaths. To ensure frogs don’t hang out in your pool for long periods, safely remove them once you spot them in your pool and install a frog log so they can easily hop out on their own.
