"In June Andy was doing an interior paint job across the street from us. The house had been recently sold and Andy had been hired by the real estate agent on behalf of the new owner. He had previously done work for the agent and she recommended him. Our house was struck by lightning at the same time and Andy had pointed out a hole in the front of our house, from the lightning exiting our attic, that we hadn’t noticed. We had not been happy with our previous house painting and took the opportunity to schedule Andy to do our house. He and his team came shortly after and did a great job on which we’ve received many compliments, both for the quality of the paint job, but also their work ethic and friendliness. They were meticulous and thorough and since have received further customers in the neighborhood. We have enjoyed a warm relationship with Andy and would continue to recommend him highly. "I can't recommend Elevate Home Solutions enough. We did exterior painting, interior painting, and renovated our damaged bathroom from Hurricane Milton from last year. We went from Brown and dull to blue and new! First off, the painting crew was phenomenal. They prepped and painted both the inside and outside in record time, using high-quality, weather-resistant paints that look stunning even months later. The interior got a fresh, modern neutral palette that brightens the whole space, and the exterior? It gleams like new neighbors keep stopping by to ask who did it! No drips, no mess left behind; they even protected our landscaping and furniture meticulously. The real magic, though, was the bathroom renovation. From ripping out the moldy drywall and warped flooring to installing a sleek new vanities, rainfall shower, and tile that feels luxurious underfoot, they transformed it into a spa-like retreat. The project manager, Kerlyn, kept us in the loop with daily updates and photos."

"I was very impressed with the painters, Eric and his son. Came when they said they would, explained everything they were doing and was very respectful of me and my property. I would recommend them and if I needed any more painting done I would call on them."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

If you recently splashed paint on the wrong area of a wooden object, remove it with a solvent or caustic paint stripper. Some paint that has yet to dry may be removable by hand with coarse sandpaper or a plastic scraper. Another trick for removing dried-on paint is rubbing a dab of nail polish remover on the paint to remove it, but avoid touching the bare wood surface.

A traditional German schmear uses mortar, making it unsuitable for adherence to painted surfaces. Professionals recommend removing any existing paint before applying mortar. However, you can rough up the painted surface and clean it to test if the mortar will stick. Remember that the underlying paint's texture and color may affect the schmear's final appearance—so starting with a bare brick wall will ensure the ideal finish.

Most spray paints are oil-based, meaning you will need a solvent to dissolve them, like paint thinner, lacquer thinner, or acetone. While solvents can be useful in removing paint, they are also very flammable and require the use of a respirator. Beyond that, these products may smear paint and cannot be used on all surfaces.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

DIY is possible with strippers or sanding, but professional services ensure efficiency and prevent surface damage.
