I can't say enough positive remarks about Oleg (Alex) and his team... basically one other guy - Kirol (spelling???). They were awesome. The demolition and removal took about 2 days - tops.  They were clean and orderly and totally respectful of my space. They went systematically through the process of rebuilding.  They made some great recommendations for shifting a few things around and were completely responsive to my ideas about the kitchen.   The basement is not an easy space (in/out) or to work it, but they did a great job.  They kept the project moving and on time.  I purchased appliances from Sears (got a great deal around Columbus day for the "set") and did the cabinets through a local Ace affiliated place (C&R).  At one point, Oleg realized that the corner cabinet was too wide to fit in my door, and I trusted him completed to cut it (from the back/side) in order to get it downstairs and installed properly.

I wanted the built-in corner banquet and brought in a few pictures to show them... and what Kirol did is amazing!  I had priced out storage benches as an option and ended up saving over $1,000 buy doing the custom build. 

The kitchen looks phenomenal.

"We recently had an unfortunate pin-hole leak in a water pipe in our ceiling which resulted in an insurance claim involving water damaged sheet rock, insulation, tile, and miscellaneous electrical component, removal and replacement of all damaged items to their original state. After removing the water damaged components, the area was "blown dry" for several days to prevent any mold growth.
Ray was asked to evaluate and bid for the restoration evaluation process. He arrived on-time for our estimate appointment and was friendly and professional and very attentive to our needs in his evaluation of our requests. We asked Ray to provide a breakdown of costs involving:
1. Replace ceiling sheet rock and insulation, including recessed lighting fixtures and possible electrical components.
2. Since the kitchen wall was damaged due to the water pipe leak, we asked for a separate estimate to replace our existing sliding glass doors and sliding glass windows with energy efficient double pane fixtures. We stated that this estimate would be outside of the realm of insurance coverage, and would be at our expense.

3. Replace the kitchen wall sheet rock and tile. Prime and paint the ceiling and wall.
4. All phases and estimates would include clean-up costs and final payment would be issued upon my inspection and acceptance of all work done.
Ray provided the detailed estimate on time via email.
We chose another contractor/restoration firm based on the estimates provided and the insurance coverage. If we choose to proceed with our opportunity to remodel, we may still choose Ray for the additional sliding glass door and sliding glass window replacement.
I hope we made the right decision by choosing the lower, insurance based,  replacement estimate!

"I have a block house built in 1996. I recently starting researching ways to “harden” my home against Florida storms. I initially thought a window film application would be the best solution. As I investigated glass technology, I realized the newer glass designs are far superior. I contacted Ryan at Reece Builders. We discussed details. I have a large number of windows, so we did the project in a couple of stages. In every case, every aspect of the project was flawless. The measurement was absolutely spot on. The installers were excellent and gifted craftsmen. Every new window fit perfectly. Everything was done correctly the first time. There were no “re works” for any reason. I mentioned Ryan by name here, but every single member of the Reece team is an outstanding professional and a pleasure to work with. When I look the construction of the Reece window compared to the original builder-supplied window, there is simply no comparison. The Reece window looks and feels much more robust, solid, and very well made. I have two east facing windows left to replace, literally next week. In the morning I put my hand on the old builder windows, and it feels like a hot frying pan. I go to the double insulated gas-filled Reece windows and they are cool to the touch. Actually, the vinyl frame is mildly warm, but I would expect that especially this summer of relentless heat and clear skies. That is the only heat transfer compared to the entire surface area of the old window. This is a great product and an excellent company to work with.
