"In one word, EXCELLENT! Ray showed up exactly on the promised date, 1/5/19, and at promised time. Utllized chemical treatment first and than hosed off the roof. Instead of pressure cleaning, which loosens roof tiles, Ray employs chemical first which kills any fungus that might be present. Had roof cleaned 3 years ago, but Rays work was clearly the best and most professional. I live in Juno Isles and would highly recommend Ray. He also covered all nearby plants and scrubs for protection."

"Service was fast, efficient, professional and friendly. I didn't have much hope for my 12-year-old carpet, but it really came back to life, especially in the high traffic areas. The tile and grout look great, too. Definitely an excellent job!"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Yes, many professionals use dustless or water-based blasting methods for reduced environmental impact.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.
