"Brad and his team were very professional and prompt. They did an awesome job. Brad worked with me to achieve the design for my yard that I envisioned. I would definitely use brewer landscaping for my landscaping needs."

"After having a bad experience with LPC Landscape Solutions I was hesitant with finding another company to finish sodding my lawn. Healthier Landscaping had the best price, exceptional customer service, & help restored my faith in honest, good-working lawn folks. They came when they said they would and completed the job. I was recommended from other community neighbors in Saint Cloud, Fl and I was glad for the recommendation. Thank you!"

Small jobs welcome

"Not only did they finish the project on time, but they did an incredible job. It all began with a call with one of the owners Tom who was simply an incredible person. Then our first visit to the nursery when we met Cecilia whom was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took so much time with us to show us around and help us decide which plants and palm trees to choose. Then we met the other owner Lily. This was not an ordinary boss. Lily showed up with her team and she actually did the work as well. She made sure we were happy with the design and layout. They did such a great job that we are certainly bringing them back to do the landscaping around our pool. I would certainly recommend them as they do great work and very reasonable pricing."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

The average cost for landscaping is around $3,500, but prices can range from as low as $200 for simple DIY projects to $14,000 or more for extensive work. Several factors influence the final price, including your geographic location, yard size, project scope, chosen materials, site preparation, and the type of landscaping involved. Professional landscaper labor costs typically range from $50 to $100 per hour.

For a smaller budget, you can focus on softscaping projects like adding mulch, flowers, and shrubs, which might only cost a few hundred dollars if you do the work yourself. A budget of around $5,000 could cover projects like a simple patio, new plants and tree trimming, or a water feature. More extensive hardscaping projects, such as pergolas, patios, and walkways, can push the budget to $14,000 or more. For example, a flower bed installation averages between $800 and $3,000, while landscape lighting installation can cost from $2,000 to $6,000.

The best landscape edging tool depends on you and your needs. For homeowners who are looking for a budget-friendly edging material, plastic might be the best option for them. However, homeowners who want a low-maintenance option might opt for concrete or brick. Since there are loads of gardening edging ideas, decide what factors (maintenance, style, or budget) are most important to you to help you narrow your choices.

You can fill the holes weeds leave behind with soil or sand to avoid unsightly spots or tripping hazards. If you remove weeds from a grassy area, fill the hole with soil and grass seed, and water regularly to promote grass growth.

In most cases, wait three to five days to repot or relocate a plant from a greenhouse or nursery. That way, your plant has time to recover from any shock during the move and adapt to the conditions in and around your home. Some hearty plants may not need as long, and delicate plants might need several weeks. You should ask the professional at your nursery for a recommended timeline. Consider asking about an initial watering schedule to help stimulate root growth and promote a healthy plant.

There are several reasons your grass may be dying that could be in or out of your control. The most common issues include poor drainage, under/overwatering, poor soil pH, low soil nutrients, low sunlight, or too much foot traffic.
