"Summer 2023 we were trying to find someone to replace the glass in our lanai sliding doors without having to replace the frame. We contacted Aldora who could order the glass but they wouldn't install it however they recommended Tropic Glass Company in Fort Myers. Dusty installed the glass in September and after he left we noticed defects in all three panels. We immediately reached out and after waiting over a month, in November he finally told us ordered replacement glass for all three panels. Since then we have reached to get status updates. Finally in February he told us that he received the replacement glass but rejected one panel. On March 8th he received the replacement of the replacement. Then it was a matter of installation. Here we are, May 2nd, and we're still waiting for him to install. We have been more than patient and he continues to make excuses. Aldora won't even speak to us about their product. Very disappointed with both companies."

"This job was supposed to completed in 1 day, 4 hours. The job could not be finished because there was not enough material ordered so they had to order another box of planks. I had to work that day so I left my husband a check to give them. He gave them the check without the project being completed and signed what he thought was a work order. I was the one that hired Tropic Floor and I was the one that knew what needed to be done so he basically had no authority to sign plus they should not have given him anything to sign without the job being completed. They still needed to finish the floor and the entryway. When I got home, I noticed that one half side of the room’s border was cut shorter than the others and left a gap. I texted Mario, the rep and sent pics of the border and he when they come out again they would fix it. I also sent him a picture of the entry way which was not completed because lack of planks and he said they would fix that also. They came back the next week and “finished” the floor and entryway. They left a 2 inch gap on both sides of the entryway which looks horrible. I pointed it out to the workers when they were here and they said they would fix it. By the time, i came back in the room, they had left and there was still a gap in the entryway on both sides. I texted Mario with pictures of the entryway and he said that is what it is supposed to look. I sent the pics to friends, one of which is a contractor and all said NO do not accept this work and all agreed that it looked bad. I again texted Mario to have his manager/owner call me. The owner, Mike called me and said he was coming out to look at it. He came and said the same thing Mario said that it is supposed like that. I told him that It looked horrible and I was very dissatisfied. He basically blamed it on the tile being installed improperly (20 years ago). I took pictures and went to other 2 flooring companies after he left and both companies said the work should have been done differently and the tile should have been cut and the plank extended. One company told me it would cost me $250 to fix the entryway. I contacted Mike at Tropic Floors to tell him that I had talked to the other flooring companies and then he told me he could fix his mistake for another $250. I basically told him that I would work with the other company before I every hire him again. He should have done the job! I have pictures of the job which I would love to share with anyone interested."

"Bill Wallace provided a timely quote and was top notch in his inspection of the work and follow up upon completion. A professional organization all the way. They completed a demolition of a built in entertainment center and refinished a wall for us. Two days in and out and left everything clean. We are very satisfied and would definitely use them again! "I replaced the windows in condo that was built in 1972 w single hung windows. The selling point was that these were awesome windows and an alternative to double hung for FL. They were installed 7/8/21. I had concerns about the caulking and forwarded pictures 7/11/21 - 3 days after installation. I was told they would not redo the caulking. The windows have a lot of condensation. Condensation is normal. However not huge puddles of water. I am experiencing areas of mold in less than 6 months. The owner refused to come and look, told me to get a dehumidifier and he would no longer discuss the situation. HUGE waste of money."
