"It went great! Chris was very prompt at returning my request for more information and even followed back up with me a week later to see if I had any other questions. The technician showed up on time and was very friendly and helpful. They installed the entire system in approx. 2 hours and went over all operation instructions and what to expect with the new softener. This experience was one of the best I've received in a long time! Great company, great people and great service!"

"I don’t recall any troubles with scheduling. He was unable to complete the work on what we had wanted to have him do. We didn’t have the correct components to install a new sink in at the time. He was able to install the new toilet insides as I had all of the parts available for him. The plumber did share his disappointment in how there was some facts left out of the fine print for the Big Deal. We liked him and would consider hiring him again."

"I had Green's out to pump my septic tank in the end of March of 2015.  In August when doing a load of laundry I had some water back up, and knew that I would most likely need a new drain field.  I was very very pleased with the fantastic job that Green's had done pumping my septic tank, so I called them for an estimate for the new drain field.  Dominique scheduled my septic tank to be pumped first thing the next day so that I could use my plumbing and came out himself to look at my system.  He is absolutely exceptional as a service provider.  He is incredibly informative and explained everything in detail to me, and was very patient.  He took note of some challenges in placement and also was very attentive to my concern for any damage that could potentially be done to my neighbor's lawn during the installation.  He assured me that they would do whatever possible to minimize any damage.  Dominique provided me a quote the next day that I felt was very fair based upon the research that I had done, so I scheduled the installation.  The crew came out prior to the date of installation to look at my particular site to make sure that everything would go smoothly.  They arrived promptly on the day of installation and did a superb job!!  They had the entire drain field installed in a matter of hours with no damage to my neighbor's lawn, and minimized the damage that was caused to my yard as much as they could.  No one enjoys having to go through the expense and trouble of installing a new drain field, but my experience was absolutely as good as it could have been due to the incredible service and care provided by Dominique, Mark and his crew.  I recommend them without hesitation and will only use Green's for my septic services in the future.  It is an absolute pleasure to find an honest, hardworking company that conducts business with ethics and integrity.  Thank you!!!"

"We both a new house and one of the bathtubs was a little rough looking. They came in and worked all day and the tub looks amazing! It's cheaper than buying a new tub but it looks like a new tub!"

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Pop-up drains come in various sizes, including 1.25", 1.5" and 1.625". Choose a drain the same size or smaller than the hole in your sink.

The average cost to hire a plumber is typically between $45 and $200 per hour, with a common average rate around $125 per hour. This cost can vary based on your location, the plumber's experience, and the complexity of the job. Rates are often broken down by experience level: an apprentice may charge $45 to $90 an hour, a journeyman $60 to $110 an hour, and a master plumber $80 to $200 an hour. While hourly rates are standard, some plumbers may charge a flat fee for routine projects or offer project-based pricing. It's also common for plumbers to charge a minimum service or trip fee. For reference, some typical flat-rate costs for common jobs include: drain unclogging ($220), leaky faucet repair ($270), burst pipe repair ($400), toilet repair ($300), and water heater repair ($600). Note that these rates are for standard service hours; emergency, holiday, and after-hours calls will cost significantly more.

Different plumbing problems can cause your P-trap to leak. The biggest problems are loose nuts and misaligned pipes. Over time, your P-trap can leak due to the rush of water moving through the pipes, which in turn loosens the nuts and causes the pipes to fall out of alignment. Other problems include worn rubber O-rings and cracked pipes.

No, you don’t need to use plumber’s putty to install a sink drain. Other options are available, such as silicone putty or silicone caulk. Plumber’s putty is the traditional method and it’s easier to work with and easier to remove. It doesn’t need to dry before using. Silicone putty should dry before you use the drain.

Because it’s an engineered stone, quartz composite is much denser than other natural stone alternatives. For instance, if you drop a heavy object in a natural stone sink, there’s a chance the sink could crack, chip, or dent. Quartz’s density means quartz sinks are more resistant to scratches or staining. However, darker quartz sinks are more likely to show scratches or scuffs, and quartz sinks can stain over time.
