"I had the pleasure of working with David to remodel my build up garage back to a garage. His hard work, attention to detail, and professionalism was refreshing to see in a contractor is South Florida and the pricing was more than fair. I have dealt with a lot of contractors in the past to mixed reviews but I am sure that I will we working with David and JGB in the future."

"We recently hired Sosso Remodeling to renovate our condo in North Palm Beach, FL, while we were still residing in New Jersey, and the experience exceeded all expectations! From start to finish, Octavian was absolutely incredible—his communication, craftsmanship, and attention to detail made this long-distance renovation completely stress-free. Despite the distance, Octavian kept us updated every step of the way with regular photos, videos, and clear explanations of the progress. He was always responsive, addressing any questions or concerns promptly, which gave us total peace of mind. "Overall Dan was very professional, responsive and punctual. It is amazing when you have a vendor show up at the time promised! He was always at least 10 minutes before the promised time. Dan and Tony were able to complete the long lists of items within a few days. I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. The guys even came to my place on a Sunday to put in a half day to meet my deadlines. Be sure to be clear when giving direction - we had a couple mistakes that had to be fixed along the way due to paint selection in the wrong areas within the property. Dan and Tony fixed the issues once addressed with no complaints. Dan went above and beyond to help me with issues that arose during the project (i.e. exchanging a damaged bathroom vanity and minor retro fitting to old plumbing). Thank you again Dan for everything! I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family in the South Florida area.

Basement Remodel questions, answered by experts

Walkout basements cost more than other kinds of basements, and can also increase your risk of leaks as well as a loss of insulation, leading to higher heating and cooling costs. Improperly installed walkout basements may lead to structural issues with your foundation, so ensure you’re working with a contractor who has extensive experience with this kind of basement.

Building up by adding square footage to the top of your home is often less expensive than adding a basement, but it depends on the specifics of your house, your property, and supply costs. Because building a basement requires excavation, it can be a more expensive option than building up.

Rebar is an essential part of reinforcing a basement floor, as not having it can impact its structural integrity. It helps absorb the tension factors that contribute to cracks in your floor and strengthens its load-bearing capabilities by evenly distributing the weight. Not including rebar could lead to an unstable floor, so don’t skip it!

While bathrooms and kitchens are nearly equal in terms of renovation difficulty, kitchens are the most challenging. Kitchen design, layout, electrical, and plumbing needs all depend on each other for the success of the entire project, and mistakes early in the project can cause trouble later on.

If you don’t have a crawl space but have a partial basement you want to make deeper, you can expect to spend a little less—between $40,000 and $90,000 on average. However, if you’re not adding new finished square footage, you won’t see much in the way of ROI.
