Small jobs welcome

"I hired Michael to mount my 65 inch tv and it was the best decision! Previously, a friend offered to help me put the tv on the wall ,but problems ensued and I knew I needed a professional. Michael was an answer to my prayers! He deftly anchored the mount securely on the wall and tv and safely completed the job . He even took the time to cover unsightly cords for the esthetic in my living room. He was friendly, well spoken and very experienced. The cost was reasonable and I will recommend him to friends and family."

"I had a ceiling fan installed. I forgot the electricians name but he did a wonderful job; he made suggestions regarding the placement of the fixture and was very knowledgeable and confident. He definitely knew what he was doing. Will definitely hire this company again."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Yes, many professionals offer wall mounting and securing options for media consoles with attached TVs.

If you don’t have studs in the area where you want to install your TV mount, you may still be able to install a TV mount on drywall. The easiest way to install a mount on drywall is by using drywall anchors—but not just any plastic anchors. Choose molly bolts or toggle anchors, which have a weight capacity of around 50 pounds. For added support, consider pairing drywall anchors with a wall mounting plate. Extra heavy TVs may need to be mounted via the ceiling joists or beams.

Professionals can provide alternatives, like using stands or no-drill mounts where applicable.

The cost to have a TV professionally mounted typically ranges from $160 to $360, with a national average of about $260. This price is for labor and does not include the TV mount itself. Several factors can affect the final cost, including the size of the TV and the type of mount used; for example, a fireplace mount costs more than an under-cabinet one. If you want to hide the wires within the wall, the price can increase significantly, potentially to $1,000 or more. For an accurate estimate, it is best to contact a local TV mounting service.

Finding a professional to mount your television to the wall is a little challenging because no licenses exist for this type of work. You could ask friends or neighbors for recommendations. Check out online reviews, too. Typically, though, almost any local handyman can do the work. A local electronics store or the place where you bought the TV may have a recommendation for you. A local framer or drywall installer might do the work for you as well. If you need an outlet installed for the new TV, an electrician may do both items for you.
