Small jobs welcome

"Michael was fantastic. Our cable setup was a bit complicated, but he was patient and figured things out so that the TV would be set up properly. He even came back later after we got new cable boxes to complete the job. He went above and beyond, and I would hire him again anytime I needed help."

"I had a new 75"TV installed in family room which needed a new brace built into wall unit for TV mount to extend out flush against the front of wall unit as TV was wider than opening in wall unit. In addition they moved existing 60"wall unit TV to game room on new mount and moved existing 40"TV in game room to outside lanai area on mount. They will stay until you are satisfied with job. Very nice guys and I would recommend them and use them again."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

While it can be done, hanging a TV on a brick wall without drilling requires thoughtful care. Conditions of the wall, the weight of the TV, any items below the TV, and more must be taken into account. To effectively mount the TV would require specific tools to install, such as TV stands, clamps, and strong adhesives.

You can stream HDR video content from most major streaming services, including Amazon, Google Play, Itunes, Netflix, and Vudu with a 4K TV. You can also use this content in various forms, such as 4K Blu-ray players, cameras, and smartphones.

In addition, 4K content is gamer-friendly. You can use major gaming platforms such as the PS5 and Xbox to stream 4K gaming.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.

In most cases, you should not put a TV on a fireplace mantel. The minimum width required to put a TV safely on a shelf or mantel is 10 inches, but pre-made mantels are usually too shallow, averaging at only seven inches deep. If you do choose to place a TV above a mantel, it should be mounted to the wall. However, do so cautiously as heat radiating from the fireplace could potentially cause damage to electronics.
