"They got the vinyl fence done in one day. They did a good job. It looks so nice. Our wooden fence was falling apart. The vinyl fence is really an improvement. Mitch the person who helps you decide which fence you would like to install, is an exceptional salesman. Every time we had to call with a question, he answered his cell phone right away."

"From first contact to after completion, Alberto and Allan were amazing, always ready to answer questions, guide, and get the work done. The fence was installed by a great team who worked really hard, removing the old wooden fence and installing the new vinyl one. Everyone was professional, polite, and super helpful. I highly recommend Ergeon!"

"I hired SPP to build a fence with two gates. I also requested some decorative personalization to one of the gates. The job turned out beautifully. Everyone was friendly. Communication was easy. They also started and finished my job early, so I got my fence several weeks before it was initially planned. My neighbors, who seem to more about fences than I do, also commented on the nice job. Bonus: SPP also had the lowest price (MUCH LOWER) compared to other local companies."

"Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The yard presented with several issues namely extreme differences in grade as well as thick roots. Adam was communicative and presented several options to mitigate the problems. Listened to what we wanted and delivered. The yard and fencing are amazing."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

In Palm Bay, watch for early signs like rust forming at the base of metal fencing, posts that shift after heavy rain, or vinyl panels that start to bow or crack. Wood fencing that feels soft to the touch or shows greenish mold is also a warning. Even slight leaning after a storm or persistent squeaky gate hinges can signal deeper structural problems that require prompt attention.

Helpful?

Signs in Palm Bay that fencing work may need to be redone include posts that move easily in sandy soil, visible gaps under panels after storms, or hardware showing rapid rust. If wood fencing lacks a water-repellent finish or if panels aren’t spaced to allow for wind flow, these are red flags. Materials not rated for hurricane conditions or poor drainage around the base also indicate subpar installation.

Helpful?

For Palm Bay homeowners, start each spring by checking for loose posts, rusted hardware, and signs of wood rot before hurricane season. Inspect monthly during summer for UV damage, salt buildup, and blocked drainage. After storms, look for leaning sections or debris damage. In winter, deep clean and repair any issues. Regularly walk the fence line, trim back vegetation, and lubricate gate hinges to maintain durability year-round.

Helpful?

In Palm Bay, habits like letting sprinklers spray directly on fencing, stacking yard tools or firewood against panels, and allowing vines to grow unchecked can all accelerate wear. Parking vehicles too close, using harsh chemicals nearby, or ignoring minor repairs also contribute to early deterioration. Even frequent pet digging near posts or using high-pressure washers can weaken fencing, especially in Florida’s humid climate.

Helpful?

In Palm Bay, pool fencing often needs the most frequent repairs due to constant humidity and chemical exposure. Backyard perimeter fencing is vulnerable to high winds and salt air, while front yard sections face intense sun and storm debris. Fences near drainage ditches, mature trees, or retention areas are also prone to shifting and root pressure, making these spots key areas to monitor for damage.
