Fence was reinforced where posts were getting rotted. Both gates were rebuilt. The work was done quickly and the fence and gates look great!

The fence repair was great. They did a very nice job and it looks as good as new. I would highly recommend them.

Deck came out beautiful. Their communication was excellent answered my millions of questions and got me what I wanted. I’ll hire them for the e next deck as well.

The Sales rep Colin did a great job maintaining contact with me before and after the job. Spoke with Ellen in the office who coordinated the job and was great answering all my questions. The work was done with a great team who installed the fence very professionally. If I hire this company again I’d want the same team working my project. They were very good. They coordinated with me every step of the way which I greatly appreciate it. There were no surprises in the work or in the final price. I’d call them again for a quote on the next job my family or friends need.

Rick, the owner of the company personally estimated the job within 24 hours of our request. He provided the most reasonable estimate of three we received and what we appreciated the most was how quickly the job turned around. This was our first time having a custom anything built so we didn't quite know what to expect and I must say that we are really impressed! Not only do we feel the work was top notch, the pergola is so well built it will more than likely hold the house down if a hurricane tries to blow it away! On top of that, the crew finished the job in one day and we're really pleasant to have around. Local guys that all grew up in the area who were very professional and hardworking. It's a no brainer for us to use Viking Fence & Deck again for any of our jobs that fall within their wheel house. Thanks guys! You made this really easy for us and we appreciate it!

Estimator came out on time, a Thursday, 2/17. He suggested doing fence was a small job for him but he promised a quote by Monday, 2/20. Finally rec'd quote on 2/27 long after others had quoted. It was sad as they were competitive in pricing. Ended up hiring a very responsive fence company who apparently wanted my job.

They did an excellent job, it just took a long time to get it started.

Great. Rick (owner) was very friendly and responsive from the outset. He came out and provided an estimate within a day. We obtained a second quote and both were within $100. Key for us was schedule based on other work we were having done. Fortunately, this worked out great as they had a spot open up at exactly the time we needed them. Then the day of the work, everything was done quickly and professionally. The final result looks great and we're very happy.

Workers were prompt, efficient and polite at all times. Quality is excellent. We are very pleased and would use them again.

It took a long time to get started (almost 3 months) but once we got past that, the work was done well and the area cleaned up. The fence looks very good and I will probably go to Viking to replace the fence on the other side in the near future.

Good, although 1 gate could not be fixed. Had to be replaced, along with another 13 ft of fence. It took 3 weeks to get an estimate and another 2 months for the work to be accomplished (granted, it was hurricane-related). Wish they could have warned us about the unrepairable gate when estimating, but we're very happy with the work that was done.

Great! We had our deck built with the Tropical decking wood. Viking was punctual, and professional to work with. Our pool looks so much better with this beautiful deck around it!

We love the new deck and fence that they put in. The company seems to be divided into a fence division and a deck division so I will address each group separately.
First of all, the deck guys were great. We dealt with Rick for the deck. He was great to deal with. He gave us our estimate, and kept in touch with us up until the install date when he came out with 2 other guys to tear out our old deck and put the new one in. He told us it would take 2-3 days, and it took about 2 and a half days, They seemed to do it in stages. They removed all of the old deck first. Then they lay the support for the new deck. Finally they lay the deck pieces. It looks beautiful. When they were finished Rick gave us information on how to take care of the deck. The guys were very professional and easy to deal with.
After the deck was put in, we had a section of our fence replaced that had been falling apart for the last couple years. We dealt with Dana to get an estimate. I cannot remember the name of the guys who came out to do the work, but they were great. Viking worked with us to move the gate from the front of the yard to behind the front door. The new fence looks amazing and we are very proud of it. It changes the way the way the front of the house looks.
I only have one complaint about working with Viking. We found the lack of communication on the Fence side frustrating. It seemed like we always had to call to find out what was going on. I would still recommend this company to friends and family, but I would make sure that they are prepared for possible communication issues.
Overall, I love walking out onto the new deck. It makes the backyard a wonderful place again. I also love pulling up to my house and seeing not only the beautiful new fence, but more of the front of the house instead of just a gate.

Approximately 150 square feet of old wooden decking boards and ground level support framing was removed and the area was re-graded and leveled.  New support posts and framing was build and installed.  New decking boards were than installed on top of the framing.

The job started on time as scheduled.  Rick estimated 1-2 days to complete; the job took 1.5 days.  The crew showed up on time and cleaned up the work are when complete.  The new walkway/decking came out great.  Rick also replaced two 6 foot long pergola bench boards at no additional cost which also look great.  Rick was also very responsive with job start time and providing job status.  There were no issues with miscommunication or schedule; the job when very smooth.

Excellent workmanship and friendly. Finished exactly on time as promised. As often happens with good work, we had to wait a couple of months.

Got it done fast and were professionals throughout the entire process. Someone even drove by and screamed "That was fast"32

Rick, the owner, was quick to return my calls, was on time to the appointment to estimate the job, returned the quote quickly, was quick with minor revisions and carried the job out to perfection.  He, and his helper Jeremy, worked like a finely oiled machine.  Pricing was very fair.  We priced a pressure treated kit online and it was about the same price as Viking's was installed.  We have a roof line that Rick and Jeremy had to work around and they figured it out to absolute perfection!  The online kit would not have been able to be installed the was this one was (completely custom).   We are very happy with our new shade structure and look forward to relaxing under it for many years to come!

Viking was contracted to install a 48 inch PVC fence by Adams Homes for 2224 Merlin Drive, West Melbourne, FL 32904 in late 2006. There is no record in West Melbourne or Brevard County of a fence permit for this job. They installed a 44 inch fence instead and since job was not permitted, inspector was unable to fail project. We purchased the home in 2012 and are installing a in ground pool. We planned to simply extend fence to property line. Code for pool requires a 48 inch fence whch we would have if Viking installed the proper fence in the first place. NO one does a 44 inch fence only 48 inch fence so I am FORCED to install an entire new fence to meet code, not just a portion as we planned. 
    The PVC fence also has some damage and since it has a lifetime warranty, should be repaired by Viking. They refuse to honor the warranty as well. Rick, the owner has made every excuse in the book regarding why this isn't their concern and hasn't done anything to try to resolve this issue of their poorly installed work. They ignore phone calls and make you "track" them down instead of calling you back. Rick would rather me "go away" vs. him honoring his work. Viking does not deserve to be in business if this is how they treat customers. 
    Rick and Viking Fence should not be trusted.  If you need any work done,  I would chose ANYONE else on Angie's List! I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and plan to take Viking to small claims court as I've tried for 2 weeks to settle this peacefully, but only have gotten the run around.

Good quality work, very prompt. The fence was built on site, rather than using pre-built panels. They handled all aspects including removing old fence, permitting, build and site clean-up. The owner followed up after the project to make sure I was satisfied. Also used them several years back for a stairway and deck project.
