"Very knowledgeable guy who seem to know what he’s doing. Don’t know results of spraying. Have had much rain since. Will have to see if it worked. Terminex will spray again the beginning of next month."

"Extremely good communication. On time, quick scheduling, took pictures to help explain what the situation was in my attic, provided a quick estimate with details on what they needed to do. Would recommend them to anyone and would have them back if needed in the future. Also, they provide more services than just insulation; i.e. pest control."

"I thought I had a skunk living in my crawl space, but it was a dead skunk decaying in there. Bob was so helpful working up a plan, but Bruce was super nice about doing this extremely disgusting job. The customer service was top-notch and the cost (I thought) was very reasonable. I hopeI never need critter removal again, but if I do I know who I'll call. Thank you so much."

"I live in a modular home that had a huge gnawing sound coming from underneath my home in multiple areas. I called Samuel and he came out the next day with Dylan and assessed the situation. ( I even had a recording of the noise on my phone from inside my home it was so loud!) They were very professional and humored me by listening to my recording. They set traps and returned in two days to check. They caught a very large fruit tree rat. They emptied the trap and set about their work sealing up EVERYWHERE around my home with mesh over breathing blocks, epoxying where they could, and creating a solution to two very large strips of areas that could not be covered with the mesh. Their work was impeccable and top notch quality as well as aesthetically appealing. They went above and beyond by making an access door that had been blocked by a support post when previous owners built a ramp along the side of my home usable again in a very clever way and at no extra charge. For the next couple of weeks Samuel would text me asking if everything was okay and was I not hearing anymore noises. Very nice follow up gesture on his part. Then the third week I hear the same noise again in the evening one night. I texted Samuel immediately (8:30 pm on Sunday). Within 3 minutes he texted me back saying he'd be out the next day! And he was. He walked around my home again and found that some kind of critter had pushed my dryer vent out of my wall and under my home creating a really nice access for anything that wanted to come in. Samuel set traps again so as not to trap anything underneath my home and came back two days later. Traps were empty so he was comfortable with resealing my dryer vent. This required him to crawl completely across underneath my double wide modular home and reattach the vent. He cemented around the vent and it looks as beautiful as it is functional. My brother who does quality work in everything he does himself was very impressed by Samuel's workmanship. He tried to get away with not charging me but that didn't fly. I of course recommended them to my sister who hired them with the same satisfaction of results. Samuel and Dylan are at the very top of my list for go-to-guys for any DIY that I can't do myself. Very professional, very considerate, extremely dependable and reliable."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

No, mothballs do not keep bats away. Not only are mothballs completely ineffective when repelling or removing bats, but using them could be illegal, depending on where you live. Remember, bats are federally protected, and it's illegal to use chemicals during the removal process, and mothballs tend to fall into this category.

Trees that provide a habitat to bats and an abundance of bugs—their main food source—will attract bats to your yard. Because the North American landscape has changed so much in recent years, bats have a harder time finding trees with cavities to shelter in. If your yard has a dead or dying tree with a lot of sun exposure, bats will likely be drawn to it because trees with those features are less common.

Generally, spring is the best time to hire a pest control service, but it also depends on when you notice the infestation. Insect pest numbers are lower in spring before they hatch, making the extermination and prevention process more manageable as nests and eggs of future pests are eliminated. However, don’t hesitate to hire a pest control specialist when you spot signs of a problem.

Removal typically takes 1-3 days. Sealing entry points and cleanup may require additional time.

Signs include visible nests, droppings, frequent loud noises, or structural damage caused by these animals, indicating a need for pest control intervention.
