"Ben is a very polite and hard working young man. He showed up on time and as he worked on my window/blinds project,, he would ask my opinion on which direction I would like if there was 2 ways of going about it. These plantation shutters were measured for a totally different property which I sold just after they were measured. I thought I lost 1500.00 on them as I tried to cancel the order with no luck. Ben came in and made them fit in my new homes living room window. He hauled all trash away and totally cleaned up upon finishing the job. Ben has a great attitude and sense of urgency about his job I have already referred him and I will definitely be using him again. Thanks Ben,, it looks great. MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NES YEAR"

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

Professionals use the same methods found in this guide unless they’re decorating a particularly large Christmas tree. In that case, they may also make use of tools like extension poles to get the job done.

To hang Christmas lights on a ceiling without using nails or traditional hooks, you have several damage-free options. Adhesive hooks and clips are a popular choice. For smaller projects, you can use pushpins, tacks, or adhesive putty. Specially designed transparent tape that can hold weight without damaging paint is also effective. For a more creative approach, consider stringing the lights over a curtain rod near the ceiling. If you have a drop ceiling, look for clips and hooks designed to attach to the metal framing. Note that staples can also be used, but may leave small holes.

Decorating a tree yourself will only take between one and two hours, but a professional designer may take more time to create their vision. When hiring a pro, assume the work will take a minimum of three to four hours.

You can attach Christmas lights to your palm tree by securely wrapping the strings around the tree. If you notice the strands slipping, you can also use a staple gun to secure them to the trunk.

String LED lights are the best lights to use on a palm tree, as they’re long-lasting, energy-efficient, and won’t go out if a single bulb stops working.
