"DeRose Painting is a pleasant surprise of a company in Miami and an absolute pleasure to work with. John takes his time to thoroughly go over the job, carefully going over potential issues and making sure he has all the necessary information. This same attention to detail is applied to both his preparation and cleanliness, as well as to the actual painting itself. He and his team of two people carefully moved and covered furniture within our den and foyer, and then set about patching and repairing a prior contractor debacle, whereby a roofing company had put hundreds of nail holes through our tongue and groove, exposed wood ceiling. He then painted and touched up the roof to the point where it looked as good as new. We were so happy with the job that we proceeded to have our kitchen ceiling done as well. Highly recommend for quality work done by a responsive and responsible contractor."

"This review is long overdue. Fernando and his team did an exceptional job installing 1500 s.f. of white porcelain tile. It’s so much more difficult when people are living in the space, but Oca made it happen with the least amount of disruption. They took great care reinstalling the baseboards and I think they went above and beyond to ensure that the floor looked like glass when they were done. We had a few fix requests and they were promptly handled without any negativity. Oca Construction was efficient and every one of the crew was respectful of us and our property. I will be hiring them again."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.
