Florida Standard roofing was there for us every step of the process. We asked for other miscellaneous work to be done along the roof replacement. The work required consultations from engineers, plumbers and other specialists and Florida Standard Roofing guided us and mediated with these specialists on our behalf for very reasonable fees, much less than I though it was going to cost. In the end the roof come out beautiful and everyone is impressed by the quality of the finishing.

This Company is Excellent! It's very difficult to find a Business that does professional work in a timely manner nowadays but this is a Family Operated Business that strives on Excellence. They will keep you abreast of the progress of the Roof Replacement. They are easily accessible on the phone to answer any questions you might have. In few words I must say that they are very Professional and Attentive to their Clients. I most definite will be contracting them again to Replace the roof on my other Properties when needed.

The work time schedule that was proposed for the completion of the roof was followed Very much on the dot and the workers were polite and very Professional with the installation and final clean up. Florida Standard is a rarity is Miami - a reliable, professional, and responsive contractor. Reasonable prices, diligent and punctual work crew, and immediate responses to any questions. They stripped off our old shingle roof and replaced with a new metal one in less than 7 days. One of the smoothest contractor experiences we've had. Highly recommend!

After researching Google and Angie's list, I found Florida Standard Roofing. Their reviews were excellent, so I checked out their website. It was comprehensive and user friendly. I called and made an appointment with Danny Crespo, owner, for an estimate on a new roof. Danny arrived on time and answered all of my and my husbands questions. He was very polite, informative, and patient. Danny is a 3rd generation roofer. His father, Luis Crespo, was also onsite during the roof rebuild. Both of them were always very polite and helpful. Danny told us that he/his company was certified as a Master Elite GAF Timberline roofing company. But that rating wasn't what sold us on Danny, so much as the great reviews of his company, and then after meeting him we felt confident that he was honest and competent. He was always available, and if he couldn't answer a call, he'd return it right away. Danny, provided us with a folder of information, the likes of which NO contractor has ever offered us before. It was filled with pertinent roofing and materials information, descriptions of product, a client reference list of 80 names and phone numbers of customers who had their roofs worked on by Florida Standard Roofing, a list of 32 completed GAF Shingled roofs, by his company, with addresses, for us to view, a letter of introduction with a lot of buyer friendly information and web sites where you can look up and confirm his company's license is active, copies of the company's license and certificate of Liability Insurance, plus a 'vocabulary' page of 'common roofing terminology' and diagrams of the 'anatomy of a roof'. Brilliant! THAT's confidence! in your company and work. We knew then that we were going to have Danny do our roof. His estimate was not the cheapest, but I knew he would do the best work. It took me a year to finally start the roof, (not because of Danny's schedule, but because of mine), but I spoke with Danny many times over that period and he always answered all of my questions and made every effort to work with my schedule. He is one patient guy! We had to get past 2 surgeries, my daughters Sweet 16 birthday party, Hurricane Irma and the Holidays, before we could finally get to our roof...but the biggest reason we had to delay was because we had to find a competent person to remove/support our screened patio cage/enclosure, and replace the super gutter that is between the screened cage and the rotten fascia board that we wanted Florida Standard Roofing to replace. We finally found someone competent to replace the super gutter, so we coordinated them with Florida Standard Roofing, and our schedules, to begin in February. The shingles were delivered by a big truck with a boom that had a conveyor belt on it. On roofing day, and every day, the crew arrived on time, were very polite and neat. They cleaned up at the end of the day too, using a magnet to pick up stray nails in the yard, etc. I asked them to put a cover over the patio, to protect the new tile and pool, and to keep nails from leaving rust stains, and they covered it everyday they worked in that area. I never saw a crew work so hard, from the moment they arrived, until they left at 5pm. (They took a well deserved hour for lunch). We discovered that we have a tongue in groove roof. It needed a lot of wood replaced, especially in the 2 valleys. We replaced 1x8 PT fascia board around the entire house, and 2x8 PT fascia on the patio, plus some rotten soffit was replaced. The crew installed GAF Pro Start Shingles on all eaves an rakes, GAF Cobra Ridge Exhaust Vents, GAF Timberline Lifetime High Def. Shingles, GAF Storm Guard Film Surfaced Secondary Leak Barrier, over the entire roof, (qualifying owner to receive an insurance discount), GAF Seal-a-Ridge protective ridge Cap Shingles, and new drip line. We were very pleased with Danny and his awesome crew, at Florida Standard Roofing, and highly recommend them.

From the first time that Daniel was contacted he was very prompt and professional. We had a very short window of time to meet him during the week after Christmas and he was able to accommodate us. He gave us all the information necessary to make a comparison with other companies. The cost was reasonable and the job was started and finished within the time frame that he quoted. He was always available to answer any questions that we had. I strongly recommend Daniel Crespo and Florida Standard Roofing.

This is a family owned business, and I met with Daniel, their VP of sales. He provided me with a fair and competitive quote after having evaluated and estimated the project. I had some very specific technical requirements which exceeded the minimum code requirements, which Daniel was very willing to perform. The installers arrived on schedule, and performed the work in a professional manner, and were quite accommodating to my numerous visits on the roof. They installed the roofing as I had specified, with a double overlapping layer of tar paper underlayment, with a waterproof membrane installed over that, and then installed the shingles with stainless steel ring shank nails. In addition, they added six half dollar sized dollops of adhesive to each of the shingles over the entire roof, so that we would obtain immediate adhesion, as I had specified. All of this cost more than the average roof, and I willingly paid. They were not the lowest of the bidders. The result was no lost shingles and no leaks during Hurricane Irma. The only criticism I have was their slow response to repair some stucco damage they caused to the soffit where they replaced the fascia. I wasn't concerned too much as it was mostly cosmetic. When they did show, their foreman did a superb job on the stucco repair. If it had not been for the slow response on this issue and their slightly higher price than their competitors, I would have rated them an A overall. I would use them again, and will recommend them for serious consideration to my family and friends.

It went well. I love the new roof! It looks great. Danny was very responsive. He always answered my email questions quickly at night and on the weekends. He always picked up the phone when I called. I asked a lot of questions; that is my nature. Danny patiently and honestly answered all of my questions. The price was very good; I got a lot of estimates from many other companies. I got a secondary water barrier to get the extended warranty. I am very happy.

We got 3 estimates from different roofing companies. Florida Standard Roofing was selected since the pricing was reasonable and also 2 years ago they had completed some work in our old roof. Daniel Crespo was our main contact. He explained me in details not only the work to be performed, but also some financing options available (YGreene). I wanted to add a second water barrier and he was honest enough to suggest to contact my insurance company to see if it made sense to do it or not. The work was performed really really quick. The crew worked really hard trying to have everything cover to avoid the rain. Supervision was always in place. Everything went smoothly to the point that in around 20 days I had the new roof installed and inspected by Miami-Dade. Daniel was always available and even texted me at night to provide me with daily updates (something extra that was not part of the job) I was lucky enough to be able to find a really professional roofing company in Miami where customer's satisfaction goes always first that's why I will always recommend them. Project was completed in time, on budget to our satisfaction. Thanks Daniel and the rest of the crew!

After reviewing many other roofing companies, I came across Florida Standard Roofing and that was it. i spoke with Danny from day 1 and the process from start to finish was excellent. The estimate was very reasonable for a big roof(57 squares) and I was always treated with a high degree of respect and professionalism. The process took 3 weeks and Danny was in total contact with me as to the procedure, times and inspections. I do not recommend many people, however I will stand by Florida Standard Roofing 24/7/365.

They provided us with regular updates throughout the process. They also dealt with all of our city's tedious permit processes. Finally, the finished product looks beautiful.
