"Exceeded expectations!!! The crew was friendly, conscientious and professional. I forgot to move outdoor furniture, but they did so and carefully. They were on time, clean, and the prep was outstanding. The made sure I was informed at every step. There was a problem area in which the builder "wrapped" finishes to "look" like wood and they matched it to perfection. Good luck to you if you don't choose them. Anyone else can only do just as good, but cannot do better!"

Glass and Mirrors questions, answered by experts

The size of your mirror depends on the size of your vanity and personal preference. Most people prefer a mirror that is 1 to 2 inches narrower than the width of their vanity, while others like a mirror that’s the same width as their vanity. Remember that the mirror should sit 5 to 10 inches above your faucet when choosing dimensions.

The average mirror has a lifespan of 10 to 15 years. After that, the coating begins to deteriorate, losing its reflective properties. Acrylic mirrors have a slightly shorter lifespan of seven to 10 years. Higher-quality acrylic sheets with UV-resistant properties have lifespans similar to those of your average mirror. By maintaining your mirrors and keeping them out of direct sunlight when not in use, you can extend their lifespan. Some mirrors can last for decades.

Replacing the glass on your sliding door is a great way to save money if you're trying to improve insulation or simply enhance the look of your doors. Keep in mind that this is only a viable option if the rest of the panel and the door frame are in good shape.

The cost of adding glass to your kitchen cabinet doors depends on the number of cabinets, type of glass, and labor costs. Glass typically costs between $5 to $20 per sheet and you can expect to purchase complementary hardware materials for $2 to $50 each. If you’re hiring a cabinet professional to install glass in your cabinet doors, ask them for a specific estimate before hiring.

The easiest way for DIYers to smooth the edges of cut glass is to use sandpaper. Wearing protective gloves, gently sand the sharp edges smooth using low-grit sandpaper and working up to high-grit sandpaper. You can also use a multitool with a rotating sandpaper cylinder to make quicker work of the project.
