He was thorough and did a good job in fixing the window.  However, his written estimate consisted of writing the cost of the job on the back of his business card.  There was no written description of the job to be performed.  I was also surprised when he asked me to make the check out to "cash", which I refused to do.  I made it out to his company name.  That is the reason I gave him a "fair" score on "professionalism".  

They were very responsive. They came out and they measured. They gave me an estimate and they went over the different choices that I had and the different pieces and the prices. They were reputable and honest in their dealings. However, they could have been a little more aggressive. They were laid back. When I told him I was going to get a couple of other bids, he didn't pester me. He didn't even really follow up. I did get back in touch with him because his bid was reasonable. It wasn't the lowest price, but he really took the time to explain what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and why he was going to do what he was going to do.

Perfect. They were prompt and professional. The door needed to go to the shop for repair. It was returned and re-installed quickly. I will call them again, if any other glass needs arise.

Even better than I expected. I was really concerned because the first company I called out for an estimate gave me a higher quote and told me they couldn't guarantee they wouldn't damage the doors while replacing the glass since the doors were wood. Howell glass did an excellent job and the doors are beautiful. They arrived when they told me they would and they were quite professional. I would definitely use this company again.

I called several businesses to get estimates. Howell Glass and Mirror Inc. were the only business that came to the house to give a free estimate. In addition, they were significantly less expensive than all the others. They had the job done within 3 days of the estimate, and were completely professional. Mr. Howell and his brother (who own the business and perform the work) arrived on time, and complete the job without delay. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Steve Howell came out and measured the space, they delivered the finished product approx. a week later - left everything clean and tidy. (Even took off his shoes when he came in on a rainy day!)

Steve Howell was prompt in supplying an estimate for two types of glass enclosures as requested. Upon making a decision I was given a time frame that I could expect installation. Howell completed the install as promised. They were very courteous and professional.
