"I just bought a new house and needed all of the locks to be replaced before moving in. Found The Flying Locksmith through Angie list and called them. Diego answered the phone and gave me the quote, it was very reasonable. The tech came in the same day and got everything done nicely. He also gave me some recommendation on how to better secure my home. Flying Locksmith is very nice, professional and affordable. Will definitely hire them again for future needs."

"He was prompt, courteous and professional. Rekeyed all the main locks in my home and added a new key pad for my garage. He gave me a very fair price for the amount of work done and couldnâ t appreciate it more. I would hire them again, and would refer them to anyone that needs a great locksmith. Thank you to Kevin Locksmith for professional job."

The cost to rekey ranges from $80 to $160, while the cost to change locks ranges from $50 to $200, depending on the type of locks. The value of rekeying vs. replacing locks depends on the condition of your locks and whether or not you already want to replace them.

Yes, the cost to hire a reliable, professional locksmith is worth it, especially if you have a larger job like replacing all the locks and doorknobs in your house. If you’re locked out of your home or car, a locksmith has the tools and the knowledge to get you back in without risking damaging your property.
