"I had a ceiling fan installed. I forgot the electricians name but he did a wonderful job; he made suggestions regarding the placement of the fixture and was very knowledgeable and confident. He definitely knew what he was doing. Will definitely hire this company again."

"I contacted Family Home Services on a Sunday and Stefanie called me within the hour of submitting the request. She had a fully licensed electrician at my home on Monday morning. I had them install a outlet / LED Lights with switch and a new fan. All the work was completed properly and my room was left completely clean. Would hire again."

"Excellent experience. Davide is knowledgeable, talented and thorough. Hired his services for 4 hours to complete a long list of items. Minor electrical, chandelier assembly and installation, odds and ends. He was great and we scheduled another 4 hours for later this week. Great and professional."

"hired Christina and her crew to clean the entire house from top to bottom. they were a little late due to their last job being running late but that was not an issue with me. they did an AMAZING job, scrubbing, moping, vacuuming, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and all appliances, even sweep the garage. Christina and I did a walk though before the job started to show what i needed special attention to. after the job we did another walk thought as well to make sure all was well. I would recommend her to all and will be using her company once a month now for maintenance cleaning"

"Prompt on time service. Even when we ran out of material, which was not their fault, they went the extra mile and found the same material and picked it up at cost price. Eternally grateful for a great service and fast installation."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can run an attic fan with the AC on. In fact, you don’t have a choice with a passive attic fan. Plus, when an attic fan draws out hot air from the attic, it helps regulate the temperature of your whole home, so your AC doesn't have to work as hard.

Replacing an AC fan motor takes one to four hours for a pro to complete, depending on how easy or difficult it is to access the AC unit. A pro may also spend extra time inspecting the unit to make sure everything else is in good condition. It may take a few days or a week between the time a pro orders a new fan motor and when the replacement comes.

It is unlikely that a ceiling fan will fall, even if it develops a wobble. During a proper installation, ceiling fans are securely bolted to a ceiling joist, and the fasteners used for mounting are generally separate from the components related to balancing. A wobble is typically caused by an imbalance, which can be annoying and may lead to other issues, but is not usually dangerous on its own.

However, if a fan is wobbling because it was not installed correctly, it could be at risk of falling. For safety, it's always a good idea to ensure all mounting screws are tight and to address any wobbling or imbalance issues promptly.

Stainless steel or aluminum fans are long-lasting and have less air resistance. They are best for outdoor use as their durability helps them withstand unpleasant weather conditions. Their heavy weight requires a stronger motor, which leads to more noise than other blade materials.

Wooden fan blades are a classic, durable option. They are much quieter than metal fans and feature a wide range of styles and finishes to choose from. However, they can be damaged by moisture if not covered with plastic.

Plastic fan blades are lightweight, easy to clean, and versatile. There are various shapes and styles to choose from as plastic is easily molded and dyed. They will also deteriorate slower than other materials as they aren’t as susceptible to humidity and moisture.

Regularly clean the blades, check for loose screws, and lubricate moving parts to prevent noise and wear.
