"Good experience with Mike the Plumber. TJ was experienced and quickly diagnosed the root cause of the leak. He explained options to fix the leak and gave helpful tips to deal with the insurance. Tom spent 6 hours to complete the repair, with good quality of work and professionalism."

"TJ and assistant did a great job. What started off as running a new gas line to the water heater turned into replacing the old rusted drain lines under the house. They worked until they got the job done. I recommend TJ and Cleary Plumbing to anyone that need plumbing. Very professional and a great attitude."

"I used to get water in my basement every time it rained. I had a sump pump installed and I still got water through the cracks. Seal pro Max was the perfect solution for me for fraction of the cost of other solutions. With all the snow and rain we’ve had this year I didn’t get a drop of water in my basement. The guys were very knowledgeable and professional and were able to finish the job in one day. I wish I knew about this years ago."

"They came same day that I called in need to snake out main water drainage to my home. Technician Alan walked me through what the problem was and showed it to me on the camera inserted in the drain. My only negative comment would be that it was a much higher cost then I would have expected. I was impressed enough with Alan s professionalism and knowledge that I contracted them to install a new water heater."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.

The cost of storm door installation is influenced by several factors, including the door's material, type, size, and any customizations. Additional features like high-efficiency models, enhanced security locks, or special screens can also increase the price. Labor costs will also play a role in the final expense.

Like many common door problems, warping can be caused by improper installation. When a door isn't installed correctly, there's a good chance that the poor seal is allowing moisture and drafts to seep through. When this happens, humidity will build up in the wood until it swells and warps.

If you’re replacing an interior door, it’s best to get the work done in the summer or winter, as door installation professionals are the least busy during these seasons and might charge lower labor costs based on the decreased demand. You can also potentially save money by hiring a professional to install your exterior door during these seasons, but most homeowners wait until the spring or fall so that the extreme temperatures don’t put added strain on their HVAC systems while the door is being added or replaced.

Some storm doors might need two closers, depending on the weather conditions in the area. For example, if it’s particularly windy where you live, installing two storm door closers (instead of one) can prevent your door from slamming shut when it’s propped open. You can place one at the top of your door and another at the bottom.
