"Mr Masters is very responsive and answers questions promptly via text, phone call or email even answering questions while out of town on vacation. His stucco crew are first rate craftsman. I am highly scrutinous of work performed on my home and I can say that these guys are impressive. I had about 250 -300 sq feet of badly damaged stucco. 3 days total work to repair, reband windows, chimney and door. The painting crew is as expected. The did not make a mess, cleaned their mess up. Prompt , professional and painted my entire 2500 sq foot home in 3 days. 2 coats. All in all Id think for the work I had done in the timely manner in which it was performed that it was worth every penny paid."

"I contacted this company, and within 2 days i had the owner
in my home doing my estimate. Was very flexible and was able to work around my
schedule. I was needing my 20 foot ceilings painted in my living room and
stairwell, did not feel like buying a 300$ ladder. So i wanted to get it done.
I had 4 total companies come and give me quotes, and Joe neat out all the
others. They say that cheap is not always good. But the painting was perfect,
no sloppy corners, no "hey you forgot". In addition to painting the
walls, I also had Joe?s company power wash the exterior of the house. The house
is 6 years old and had not been washed once by the previous owners. With the
chlorine and water mixture for washing, the house looks amazing. I will be
calling Joe back to get another power wash, in addition to an exterior
painting.

"Hurricane Irma caused water intrusion in home. We speculated it was from a window. Thanks to Florida Leak Locators, we managed to get Mike to come out the same day. He discovered our leak was not in our window as we thought but we had gaps in our Stucco expansion slots that allowed water to get in behind and down. Also he discovered a secondary leak area further down the wall. Thanks to FLL a repair bill we thought was going to be astronomical is now managable as we can pinpoint the area to fix!"

"The gentleman came to my house to a certain situation. He also proposed to me what he would do in the house. "So, we'll do some filling and caulking basically in the siding and then for an additional whatever amount, we'll also paint your house." He said he would use the labor hours from my deal on the first day to do some caulking and prep work. Then, he said, his crew of three guys will need an additional two days to paint the house. When they came to do the work, there was only one guy. He was barely here for eight hours. He did some prep work on the first day that I wasn't too happy with. Then, he spray painted on the second day and he painted the trim on the third. We had a misunderstanding on whether the price included the material and then the last day he said it didn't. So, I had to purchase the material. I just wasn't very happy. He told me, "I brought one gang with spray paint instead of three guys with paint brushes and it evens out." I just wasn't too willing to fight. They didn't show up the first week and they never showed up in time the second."

"Very happy. The entire process from the first consultation to final inspections went extremely well. The estimate was very accurate and only had one extra charge due to some stucco work. I was mostly impressed with how quick and efficient the different teams were. The tear down crew started and finished on schedule. The delivery and roof loading team started and finished on schedule. The final roofing started and finished ahead of schedule. Each day the crews cleaned up the place like a troop of Boy Scouts! I have had many compliments and comments on how quickly this big roof went on and how well it looks. I would highly recommend them."

"The painting crew got there early and worked to complete everything in time enough for drying so I could get other services in my home before the movers came later in the week.  The price was reasonable.  The three man crew was responsive and didn't waste any time.  The walk through went well and although one more item needs attention, I am sure it will be done to my satisfaction.

Mike, the owner, was easy to schedule with and generally responsive to phone calls.  Although I chose not to have the trim and doors done, I may consider that in the future.

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Neutral colors like white, tan, beige, and light brown are the most popular stucco colors. Natural stucco has a grayish color due to the high concentration of Portland cement in the material, but most homeowners have their contractors add pigments to create a more inviting appearance. Stucco is most popular in hotter climates, where it provides ample insulation to regulate interior temperatures and keep the solar heat out. Since lighter colors reflect more sunlight, lighter stucco is more prevalent.

Costs range from $500 to $2,000, depending on the damage size and texture matching.

You can use small bits that are up to 3/8 inch in diameter, or larger bits that are 1/2 inch or more in diameter. Make sure the bits you use are coated with carbide or diamond; this information is usually visible on the package. You can also use hole saw bits to drill into stucco.

Stucco is very challenging to DIY, so it’s always best to leave the work to professional stucco contractors. The same recommendation applies to painting a stucco house, which should be left in the reliable hands of a professional exterior painter. Inexperienced DIYers can make several critical mistakes during stucco application, such as:

  • Failing to apply sufficiently thick layers for longevity and water resistance

  • Uneven application

  • Uneven texture across the exterior

  • Mixing the stucco improperly, leaving a weak structure

  • Failing to texture properly in between coats, leading to cracking and chipping

Quikrete will set without mixing. The process of pouring dry concrete into your concrete form and then adding water is called dry pouring. While this method makes pouring concrete simpler and easier, it reduces its strength and durability. It can be a viable option for small, decorative concrete pavers for walkways or for setting fence posts, but it’s not ideal for pouring slabs that will bear any significant amount of weight.
