"We noticed our 20+ year old tank started leaking and seeping into the rest of our home. We called and they were at our house in just over an hour to assess the problem. They gave us a quick, open, honest opinion of what the problem was and the best (and quickest) way to go about fixing it. They were back first thing the next morning and were in and out quickly. They communicated well whenever we had any questions, were polite, on time, and experts in their work. Would definitely recommend."
"They were the best! Quick and efficient. They were able to locate three leaks in the pool and repaired them on the spot. It has been several weeks now and I only have the normal evaporation. Prior to the fix, I was losing about 5 inches in three days. I would recommend them to anyone."
"We both a new house and one of the bathtubs was a little rough looking. They came in and worked all day and the tub looks amazing! It's cheaper than buying a new tub but it looks like a new tub!"
"I have had a Kinetico before, so invited Clearwater out for an estimate. Rob was very friendly and professional. The non-electric unit that I had previously was going to be too expensive; however, I am very pleased with the electric unit that I purchased, along with dechlorinator. James did an excellent job installing the equipment. I had a small issue with one of my faucets. Rob sent Caleb out right away and he had it fixed quickly. The warranty that comes with the equipment combination is great. Looking forward to many years of use."
"Christian showed up promptly to review our installation and to confirm they had a filtration system that would work for us. He was able to offer discounted pricing and next day installation! Super friendly, super professional and super helpful!"
"Mario was able to come 2 days after I called inquiring about doing the work. He worked quickly and did an amazing job. My range fit perfectly one he put it in place. He cleaned up very well, getting most of the dust from sawing the granite. He also cleaned the counter tops around the range and gave me recommendations for cleaner and sealer. His price was more than reasonable and I would definitely recommend and hire again."
"I read the reviews from others before hiring Four Seasons. Most people seemed happy with the finish product and pricing, but the reviews about communication and punctuality were quite spotty. I figured it was worth a shot. I can say that the reviews were fairly accurate. Beyond the initial estimates, I found responses to be quite slow. The install was supposed to take two days. Instead, it took four because on two of the days, we were stood up and no one showed to do the work (after we had arranged to be home from work those days). Additionally, when the subcontractor finally arrived to do the backsplash, he said that he had not been told about removing the old backsplash (which I made clear was part of our request). The sub called Four Seasons to say his price went up $375, and Four Seasons promptly contacted me to say that 'due to the complexity of the job, the price went up $375." Four Seasons simply forgot to tell the sub about the removal. At this point, my backsplash had already been ripped out, so there was no turning back. In my opinion, a reputable company would have acknowledged their oversight and eaten it (especially a company that claims, "no surprises" when it comes to pricing). The total price we paid for the kitchen was still reasonable, and if it weren't for the poor handling of the backsplash pricing, I would have otherwise given them an A. The quality of the work was decent. One of the seams is a bit wider and messier than I would have liked (I've remodeled a kitchen before, and have seen what excellent quality looks like), and on one side of the kitchen, the granite wasn't cut to be flush with the wall, causing us to improvise with the backsplash to cover it. Overall, the kitchen does look a lot better than before so I'm happy about that. But do be prepared to follow up again, and again and again. And definitely have a contingency built into your budget!! "I received a quote window for the work to be done, which was competitive with other companies. The reviews for SweepMyRoof were strong, and it was important to support a local business. Jeff arrived at the scheduled time, introduced himself, and detailed the work to be done. It was a hot, hot day, and Jeff worked incredibly hard at cleaning the gutters, trimming overhanging branches, and bagging all debris. When the day was done he offered a price that I felt was below the quality, and I happily paid a bit more for what was nothing short of A+ professional work. Communications with SweepMyRoof was fantastic. I can't recommend them enough. Jeff also does gutter repairs and installation, house/roof washing, and more."
Due to the exposed plumbing, pedestal sinks are more challenging to install than traditional closed vanities. Pedestal sinks may also require additional floor and wall support or demolition. However, if you have the correct plumbing in place, then installing a pedestal sink is pretty straightforward and can be completed in a day. However, it’s best to hire a professional sink installer to ensure it’s done correctly.
Whether a pot filler is worth it depends on your cooking habits, budget, and kitchen layout. For avid home cooks who frequently prepare pasta, soups, or stocks, the convenience of filling large pots directly on the stove can be a significant benefit. A pot filler can also add value to a home, attracting potential buyers with its combination of luxury and utility. However, the installation can cost around $800. The return on this investment is highest in larger kitchens where the sink is far from the stove. In smaller kitchens, where the sink is nearby, a pot filler might be perceived as an unnecessary feature by some homeowners or potential buyers.
A handyperson with basic plumbing experience can install a bathroom faucet, like the kind of skills you’d need to replace a P-trap or swap out a showerhead. They may not have deep knowledge of local plumbing code, though. If your faucet installation requires work on the pipes behind the wall or under the floor, hire a licensed plumber with the necessary training and licensing.
Basic replacements can be done DIY, but professional services ensure proper sealing, leak prevention, and plumbing adjustments.
DIY is not recommended for commercial settings due to safety and code compliance. Hire licensed professionals.
